Noiseless (= classical computer ), the noisy IBM simulator as Noisy (= classical computer ), and the actual IBM quantum device as Actual (= error-prone actual IBM quantum computer )"
p.15-Figure 12 shows the number of qubits used was only 4 ~ 15 qubits, which is far from millions of qubits required for a practical quantum computer.
p.17-1st-paragraph says "However, regarding evaluations on an actual quantum machine, the QLSTM model performed worse compared to its classical counterparts"
↑ It means when they used actual IBM's error-prone quantum computer with only 4 ~ 11 qubits, it was inferior to classical computer (= No quantum advantage ).
Only when using quantum simulator (= classical computer ), it showed better results (= this research was just classical vs. classical computer result, and quantum computer was far inferior ).
The 3rd-paragraph of this hyped news (11/17/2024) says
"The MAQCS quantum computer will (= still unrealized ) employ neutral atoms in optical lattices as qubits.. 1000 qubits in total" ← they still did Not achieve even 1000 qubits that falls far short of millions of qubits required for a practical computer.
