Helium has No solution in quantum mechanics.

In quantum mechanics, solving Schrödinger equation is everything.
But only one-electron hydrogen atom can be solved.

All other multi-electron atoms such as helium have No exact solution (= unsolvable ).

Strictly speaking, you can never find the exact solution of multi-electron Schrödinger equation, which means quantum mechanics is wrong.

In Schrödinger equation, the total energy is the sum of kinetic and Coulomb potential energies.  This total energy E must be constant wherever electrons are, for the total energy to be conserved.

Only in one-electron hydrogen, you can find the exact solution which gives the constant total enrgy E wherever the electron (= r1 ) is.

In two-electron Helium atom, Schrödinger equation cannot be solved.  So we need to choose some fake (= approximate ) solution with freely-adjustable parameters, which is useless.

Useless quantum mechanics must rely on fictitious quasiparticle to describe various physical phenomena in solid-physics even now.

We can pick two hydrogen-like atoms as the simplest fake helium atom, and integrate it instead of solving it (= because it cannot be solved ), which just gives fake average energy.

We cannot solve this helium Schrödinger equation.  So in this fake solution, the total energy E changes (= Not constant ) depending on the two electrons' positions.

This total energy gotten by integral ( instead of solving it ) is just fake "average" total energy of infinite different total energies, so meaningless.

By the way, does the exact helium solution exist somewhere ?
The answer is No.  Here we explain this reason.

 

Reason why quantum mechanics is wrong.

Quantum mechanical atoms can only show uncertain electron cloud spreading over all space (= even a single electron is spreading ), it dismissed real motions of electrons.

A helium has two electrons.  In realistic atomic model, these two electrons must be moving and avoiding each other to conserve the total energy E.

But this realistic helium of two "moving" electrons is complicated "three-body-problem" which could Not be calculated without modern computers.

Quantum mechanics was invented 100 years ago when there were No convenient computers.

So two electrons of helium Schrödinger equation are neither moving nor avoiding, instead, these two electrons are just spreading over all space in each hydrogen wavefunction independently of each other.

Quantum wavefunction means probability density for finding the electron.  "Spreading wavefunction" means we can find the electron everywhere anytime inside each atom.

Two helium electrons can be going everywhere, moving randomly and independently of each other inside the atom.

If helium Schrödinger equation was solvable, this exact solution must give the constant total energy E, wherever two electrons are.

But in these electrons moving randomly and independently, it is impossible to find the exact solution to give the constant total energy E,  which means "unsolvable".

If two electrons can be everywhere independently of each other, three Coulomb energy terms ( which are changed by electrons' positions in Fig.2 ) of helium Schrödinger equation can be changing independently of each other.

This means solving helium Schrödinger equation is equal to "solving three independent strange hydrogen atoms", one of which is unreal (= ③ in Fig.2 is electron-electron hydrogen instead of electron-proton hydrogen ? )

This is why we cannot solve helium Schrödinger equation, and quantum mechanics is wrong.

To avoid this contradiction, two electrons must be moving dependently on each other, which is quite a natural, realistic atomic model.

Two electrons always repel and affect each other.  While one electron is moving, another electron is repelled and avoding it.

In this realistic helium model, two electrons are always "affecting" each other, so the position of one electron must be a function of another electron's position.

This "avoiding" electrons' helium model needs modern computers to compute their precise motions.  Of course in 1920s when quantum computer was born, they had No computers.

So quantum mechanical Schrödinger equation cannot describe realistic atomic model where electrons are always moving, affecting and avoiding each other.

This is why multi-electron atoms in Schrödinger equation are always unsolvable with No exact solutions.

 

Quantum mechanics is useless forever.

Quantum mechanics, which was invented 100 years ago, cannot deal with multi-electron atoms, so it has to rely on fictitious model with unreal quasiparticles with fake mass and charge.

Quantum mechanics is useless, so it needs to create "imaginary target = quantum computer" to deceive taxpayers and governments.

No progress in research on fictional quantum computer, which is said to be faster (← No proof ! ) using parallel-world computing.

If you carefully read each quantum technology news, you will notice they make No progress, just using misleading phrases to get your hopes up.

Monopole is fiction except as fictitious quasiparticle.

Some electric resistance is called quantum Hall effect which is described by unreal quasiparticle with fractional-charge and fake (= effective ) mass ( this p.4, 7 ).

Skyrmion is also unreal quasiparticle for some magnetic pattern.  The current physics has to rely on fictitious quasiparticle to explain even simple electromgnetic property of material. = disaster.

Topological material with some special conductance is also described by unreal quasiparticle in quantum mechanics.
