Quantum mechanics needed for transistors is a total lie.

The media hides inconvenient fact that quantum mechanics disagrees with many experiments with No ability to predict anything, and is useless for any technologies such as transistors, smartphones, LED..

Quantum mechanics is Not used in any technologies.

Transistors (= computers, smartphones ), LED, laser.. were discovered accidentally or by trial-and-error experiments irrelevant to quantum mechanical prediction, contrary to a lot of misinformation.

For a long time, almost all the media, academia, corporations have lied that quantum mechanics could predict accurate values miraculously and is used in many modern technologies such as computer transistors, smartphones, LED, laser, MRI, atomic clocks..

Actually, transistors were discovered accidentally or by trial-and-error experiments due to No quantum mechanical prediction, as shown in transistor inventor Shockley's creative failure story ( this-lower-Trial and Error,  this-6.1.4-Trial, Error ).

All other technologies such as LED, solar cells.. were also discovered accidentally ( this-7th-paragraph,  this-1st-paragraph ) or unexpectedly (= laser, this or this-1st~2nd-paragraphs ) without quantum mechanics.  MRI can be explained by classical mechanics.

Quantum mechanics is useless in multi-electron atoms.

Quantum mechanics cannot solve its Schrödinger equations nor predict any multi-electron atomic energies, much less predict transistors, smartphones, LED, laser..

Unrealistic quantum mechanics with fantasy parallel worlds is useless for any technologies, because quantum mechanics cannot solve its only energy-calculating tool = Schrödinger equations nor predict any multi-electron atomic energies, much less predict transistors, smartphones, LED..

Physicists have to artificially choose fake trial wavefunctions (= fake solutions ) for unsolvable Schrödinger equations out of infinite choices ( this-4~5th-paragraphs ) and infinite parameters (= infinite basis set functions ) to find ones giving the lowest energy in the impractical quantum approximate variational methods ( this-p.9-last,  this-p.14,  this-p.2-p.3 ) without predicting anything.

Quantum mechanical approximate methods are also impractical.

For unsolvable Schrödinger equations, physicists have to choose fake solutions in its approximate methods that are also impractical, unable to predict anything, too time-consuming to use for any technologies.

These quantum mechanical approximate methods (= wrong Hartree-Fock, too time-consuming configuration interaction CI ) take infinite time, so impractical for actual molecules, materials transistors, LED.., and unable to predict anything ( this-p.14,  this-p.6-lower ).

Quantum mechanics is useless, cannot predict anything.

Quantum mechanical approximate variational methods are also impractical, unable to predict any atomic energies.

For unsolvable Schrodinger equations that cannot predict anything, physicists rely on quantum approximate variational methods which are said to give only upper bounds, cannot tell how far above the true atomic energies without experimental values ( this-p.7-Caveat,  this-p.3(pr p.1)-lower ) nor predict any atomic energies.

Quantum mechanics cannot be used for technology.

The most accurate quantum mechanical approximation (= that also cannot predict anything ) cannot be used for atoms with more than 4 electrons, much less used for any technologies.

The true trial wavefunctions are said to be the forms of Hylleraas wavefunctions with interelectronic distance variables (= r12 = |r1-r2|.. ) which are too time-consuming to use for atoms with more than 4 electrons (= so quantum mechanics or its approximate methods cannot be used for transistors, LED, laser with far more than 4 electrons,  this or this-p.18(or p.16),  this-p.1-right-upper ).

Quantum mechanics treats transistors as unreal bands.

Quantum mechanics, which is impractical for multi-electron atoms, has to treat the whole materials, transistors, semiconductors, LED, laser.. as one-fake-electron DFT model with unreal pseudo-potential that is also useless, unable to predict anything.

Due to the useless multi-electron Schrodinger equations ( this or this-p.12 ), the unphysical quantum mechanical band model has to treat the whole transistors as a fictional quasiparticle or one fake electron DFT (= density functional or Kohn-Sham theory = empirical or fake ab-initio theory, this-p.23-last ) model with artificially-chosen pseudo-potential called exchange-correlation (= XC ) energy functionals whose exact forms are unknown ( this-p.18,  this-p.31 ).

↑ This mainstream quantum rough approximate DFT method also fails, cannot predict anything due to its artificially-chosen pseudo-potentials (= unknown exchange-correlation XC energy functionals ) and one electron self-electron errors ( this or this-p.3-p.7 ).

As a result, all quantum mechanical methods cannot predict actual molecules, materials, semiconductors, transistors, LED... so completely useless for any technologies, contrary to a lot of fake news.

Quantum mechanics is useless in any molecules, materials.

Useless quantum mechanics cannot predict anything including superconductors, chemical reactions, medicine.. due to its unsolvable impractical Schrodinger equations.

Unreal quantum negative kinetic energy tunnel.

Quantum mechanics is false, has to describe tunneling by unreal negative kinetic energy.

Quantum mechanics is wrong, claiming tunneling is due to electrons with (unreal) negative kinetic energy penetrating a thin insulator ( this or this-3~4th-paragraphs,  this-p.4-2nd-paragraph ).

There is No such thing as negative kinetic energy which means the impossible negative electron's mass or imaginary velocity, so quantum tunneling is due to de Broglie wave interference of real electrons with positive kinetic energy.

↑ The unphysical quantum mechanical wavefunction or wave-particle duality (= an electron is a particle and wave at the same time !? ) cannot use this real de Broglie wave generated in the medium around an electron to push the electron to penetrate the insulator barrier (= an electron pushes itself is pushed back by itself due to action-reaction law, canceling the force on one same electron, so cannot cause tunneling in quantum mechanical wavefunction or wave-particle duality ), so quantum mechanics ridiculously has to rely on unreal negative kinetic energy that just worsens its basic contradiction.

Quantum electrodynamics (= QED ) is wrong.

QED (= said to be the quantum mechanical only successful prediction ) just artificially removes infinities by other infinities (= free parameters ) to get finite values, which cannot predict anything.

Quantum mechanical Schrodinger equations are useless, unsolvable, unable to predict any multi-electron atomic energies, much less predict transistors, smartphones, LED..

So the only (fake) quantum mechanical successful prediction is about the anomalous magnetic moment (= or g-factor ) of an electron in quantum electrodynamics (= QED ) with overhyped astonishing precision ( this-1.-5th-paragraph ).

Actually, QED calculations always diverge to useless infinities that must be artificially canceled by other infinities (= free parameters, No QED prediction ) of infinite bare charge, mass of fictional electrons in illegitimate renormalization to get finite magnetic moment values ( this-middle,  this or this-3~5th-paragraphs,  this-p.3-p.5 ).

Dirac, Feynman rejected QED as illegitimate, shell game.

Even QED founders = Dirac, Feynman dismissed QED's renormalization artificially removing infinities as hocus-pocus, shell game, sweeping infinities under the rug.

So even QED founders such as Dirac and Feynman criticized this QED renormalization as stopgap, hocus-pocus, dippy process, shell game, sweeping infinities under the rug ( this-1st-paragraph,  this or this-p.13-Attitudes and interpretation ).

To begin with, it is impossible to measure the tiny electron's magnetic moment to such an exaggerated accuracy as 10~ decimal places or something due to experimental inevitable uncertain errors without artificially-tuned noise or error parameters ( this-p.10~ ).

QED or quantum mechanics fails to predict nuclear spin.

QED breaks down in nuclear physics where QED's meaningless infinities cannot be removed even by the illegitimate renormalization

Quantum electrodynamics (= QED = perturbation theory ) is wrong, unable to explain any nucleus-related values such as nuclear spin magnetic moment (= hyperfine structure ) as seen in proton spin crisis, because QED's unphysical infinities cannot be removed even by its illegitimate renormalization in nuclear strong force calculations ( this or this-p.8,  this-p.1-abstract ).

"In QED, one can use perturbation theory to compute"

So physicists created ad-hoc quantum chromodynamics (= QCD ) which is also useless, can only randomly change values by Monte-Carlo method ( this-p.11-p.12,  this-p.20 ) with many fitting parameters ( this or this-5~6th-paragraph ) without predicting analytical values.

Quantum mechanics disagrees with experiments

Quantum mechanics is wrong, disagreeing with many experiments, which fact is ignored as "classically inexplicable".

In fact, there are many cases where quantum mechanics disagrees with experimental results.

Academia and the media try to hide this inconvenient fact by illegitimately rephrasing "quantum mechanics disagreeing with experiments" as "classically inexplicable" or "counter-intuitive".

Quantum mechanics is disproven by two-slit interference.

Quantum mechanics is wrong, needing an unbreakable electron to split into two slits for interference by its fictional parallel worlds.

Quantum mechanics paradoxically insists a single indivisible electron must split into two slits to interfere with itself ( this-5-6th-paragraphs ) due to its unphysical wavefunction or wave-particle duality (= an electron is a particle and wave !?  ← impossible ! ) or fantasy parallel worlds or superposition.

Action-reaction law disproves quantum interference.

Quantum mechanical unphysical wave-particle duality requires a single electron alone to cause interference patterns, which is impossible due to action-reaction law without external de Broglie wave.

Contrary to experimental results of a single electron's interference, a quantum mechanical electron alone cannot move to the constructive interference region to cause the observed interference, because an electron pushing itself is pushed back by itself due to action-reaction law canceling the force (= on the same object ).

So an electron has to generate external de Broglie wave in the medium where an electron passes one slit while its de Broglie wave passes two slits, interferes and affects the electron, which fact (= an electron and its de Broglie wave are different things ) disproves quantum mechanical wavefunction or wave-particle duality.

↑ Quantum wavefunction amplitude means the probability of finding an electron in each point, so if the quantum probability wavefunction passes two slits for interference, a single unbreakable electron also must pass two slits paradoxically, which fact disproves quantum wavefunction or wave-particle duality.

Quantum mechanics contradicts experimental quantized energy.

Quantum mechanical electron wave-particle duality cannot cause experimentally-observed atomic quantized energy levels due to action-reaction law.

Quantum mechanics is wrong, cannot explain the observed atomic quantized energy levels.

Because a quantum mechanical electron alone cannot move nor restrict itself to the observed quantized energy levels (= an electron pushing itself is pushed back by itself due to action-reaction law canceling the force applied on the same electron ).

So to agree with the experimental atomic energy levels, an electron has to generate external de Broglie wave in the medium, which tries to avoid destructive interference in an integer times de Broglie wavelength orbits which can naturally explain the observed quantized atomic energy levels disproving quantum mechanical wave-particle duality, and validating Bohr model.

Quantum mechanical photons are unreal, cannot conserve energy and momentum.

Quantum mechanical photons cannot interfere nor conserve energy-momentum in photoelectric effects.

A quantum mechanical photon is unreal, just very weak classical light wave detected by photodetectors which can mimic the illusory single photon interference.

An electron (= heavier mass ) and a photon (= lighter mass ) have different ratios of energy E to momentum p (= a photon or light has far smaller momentum p = E/c where c is light speed than an electron's momentum p = 2E/v,  v is electron's slow velocity ) with the same energy E, which fact was already known by Maxwell ( this-p.3,  this-p.16 ).

So an electron cannot absorb nor emit a real photon to conserve total energy and momentum (= Quantum mechanics sometimes makes excuses that its unreal Heisenberg uncertainty principle may allow temporal violation of energy conservation law, which is Not legitimate physics ) in photoelectric effects.  So photons are unreal.

Quantum mechanics needs unreal virtual photons.

Quantum mechanics ridiculously says an electron can absorb or emit only an unreal virtual photon with imaginary mass.

This is why quantum mechanics or QED ridiculously insists conservation of energy and momentum requires an electron to absorb or emit only an unreal virtual photon with imaginary mass that paradoxically disobeys Einstein relativistic energy-momentum relation (= E2 = p2 + m2 ) called off mass shell, which clearly shows quantum mechanical photons are illusion ( this or this-p.6,  this-14.7.3,  this-p.3-last-paragraph,  this-lower-Do they go faster than light? ).

Quantum wave-particle duality is false.

To conserve total energy and momentum, light wave needs to be absorbed into de Broglie wave instead of an electron itself, which fact disproves quantum wavefunction or wave-particle duality.

The solution to this virtual photon paradox is that light wave is emitted from or absorbed into de Broglie wave (= in the medium ) of an electron orbiting around a nucleus (= average momentum of an electron orbiting around a nucleus is almost zero, which can conserve momentum and energy between an electron and light with much smaller momentum ).

de Broglie wave's (kinetic) energy or frequency is increased after absorbing light whose energy is proportional to frequency, which increases de Broglie wave phase velocity (= frequency f × wavelength ) inside which an electron is colliding with and appears to be carried by de Broglie wave (= phase velocity in the medium ).

So to conserve total energy-momentum, and avoid unreal virtual photon with imaginary mass, an electron and its de Broglie wave must be different things (= light or a photon cannot be absorbed into an electron due to Not conserving energy-momentum ), which fact disproves quantum mechanical wavefunction or wave-particle duality, and proves Bohr model with a real moving electron generating de Broglie wave around it in the medium is right.

Quantum mechanical atoms are wrong.

Quantum mechanical atomic symmetrical wavefunction always includes paradoxical kinetic energy (= second derivative ) perpendicular to total kinetic energy summing kinetic energies in x,y,z directions.

Quantum mechanical atoms or wavefunctions are false, always including paradoxical kinetic energy.

The quantum mechanical hydrogen atomic 1s spherical symmetrical wavefunction contains kinetic energies ( = expressed as second derivative ) in all directions symmetrically, which always include paradoxical kinetic energy perpendicular to total kinetic energy summing kinetic energies in x,y,z directions.

↑ To avoid this kinetic energy paradox, the electron's orbit and its de Broglie wave must be 1-dimensional like the real Bohr's orbit, which fact disproves quantum mechanical paradoxical 3-dimentional probability wavefunctions (= two body problems like a hydrogen atom should cause one-dimensional circular orbits instead of the paradoxical quantum 3-dimensional wavefunction ).

Quantum mechanical electron spin is unreal, faster-than-light spinning.

A tiny electron must spin faster than light to cause the observed magnetic moment (= Bohr magneton ), which can be replaced by real Bohr's orbit.

Quantum mechanical electron spin is Not real, because a tiny electron must spin faster than light (= contradicting Einstein relativity ) to get the experimentally-observed magnetic moment called Bohr magneton ( this-p.2 ).

So this unreal electron spin should be replaced by the real Bohr's orbit (= Non-faster than light motion ) with the same Bohr magneton magnetic moment.

Quantum mechanical spin-orbit energy is wrong.

Quantum mechanics needs a heavier nucleus to unrealistically orbit around a lighter electron in its paradoxical spin-orbit interaction that can be replaced by real Bohr-Sommerfeld fine structure.

A hydrogen's fine structure energy splitting between 2p1/2 and 2p3/2 energy levels was perfectly predicted by the real Bohr-Sommerfeld model (= using Maxwell's mc2 instead of paradoxical relativistic mc2,  this-p.3~ ) without spin ( this-lower ).

Later quantum mechanical Dirac hydrogen tried to copy this Sommerfeld's successful fine structure ( this-p.2-1st-paragraph,  this-p.1-last~p.2-upper ) by the paradoxical relativistic spin-orbit interaction where a heavier nucleus must unrealistically orbit around a lighter electron.

↑ This quantum mechanical relativistic spin-orbit magnetic ineteraction (= allegedly related to fine structure and anomalous Zeeman effect ) is paradoxical, wrong, because in the normal rest frame of a nucleus, this relativistic magnetic energy caused in the unrealistic rest frame of an electron (= around which a heavier nucleus orbits ) disappears ( this or this-p.3-Fig.3 ).

↑ Correctly, even this ad-hoc quantum mechanical spin-orbit interaction in Dirac hydrogen is also an orbital motion like Bohr-Sommerfeld model irrelevant to electron spin, so quantum mechanical electron spin is officially proven wrong.

Quantum spin disagrees with Zeeman effect.

Quantum mechanical spin-orbit interaction cannot explain Alkali large fine structure energy splitting or anomalous Zeeman effect.

In fact, this unreal quantum mechanical spin-orbit interaction is wrong, cannot explain Alkali large fine structure energy splitting (= ex sodium's doublet energy splitting between 3p1/2 and 3p3/2 energy levels ) related to anomalous Zeeman effect.

Textbooks hide the inconvenient fact that this paradoxical quantum mechanical spin-orbit interaction needs the unrealistically large effective positive charge (= Z = 3.54 ) of the sodium ion (= Na+ ) based on the spin-orbit energy formula proportional to Z4/n3 (= Z is central positive charge,  n is the pricipal quantum number of an outer electron, this or this-p.7 ), which disagrees with actual Na+ charge of Z = 1.84 obtained from the experimental ionization energy of sodium.

So anomalous Zeeman energy splitting of sodium and Alkali atoms is caused by electric interaction between their inner electrons and the valence electron with different orbital shapes compatible with the real Bohr-Sommerfeld fine structure instead of the paradoxical quantum spin-orbit interaction.

Electron spin disagrees with Pauli principle.

Electron spin magnetic energy is too weak to explain Pauli principle, ferromagnet, which forced physicists to create fictional exchange energy lacking exchange force.

The unreal quantum mechanical spin-spin magnetic dipole energy is too weak to explain Pauli principle strongly repelling electrons with the same spins, ferromagnets, singlet-triplet energy splitting ( this-p.7-p.8,  this-p.17-p.18 ).

So quantum mechanics created fictional exchange energy lacking (Pauli) exchange force ( this-(4),  this-p.9 ) by artificially choosing fake antisymmetric trial wavefunctions or Slater determinants for unsolvable Schrodinger equations that cannot predict anything including Pauli principle.

This unphysical quantum mechanical antisymmetric wavefunction requires each electron to unrealistically exist in all different atomic orbits, which forbid each atom from having its shape or boundary, which hampers today's nanotechnology.

↑ The unphysical quantum mechanical wavefunction or wave-particle duality, which cannot use real de Broglie wave interference as the source of real Pauli exclusion force, needs such an unrealistic exchange energy lacking exchange force (= There is No such thing as energy lacking force, so quantum mechanics is proven wrong,  this-p.10-1.5 ).

Particle physics is full of unreal virtual particles.

Particle physics or standard model is wrong, needing unreal virtual particles with imaginary mass as fictional forces.

Particle physics just wastes a lot of time and money in pursuing only illusory short-lived particles (= directly unobservable ) such as Higgs, fractional-charge quark, W,Z bosons.., and non-physical symmetry math

To describe forces, this current mainstream particle physics needs unreal virtual particles with imaginary mass (= or violating energy conservation law ) disobeying Einstein relativistic energy-mass relation in virtual quark gluons, virtual W,Z bosons, virtual photons in Feynman diagram ( this-p.4,  this or this-p.18-p.20,  this-p.9-p.10 ).

↑ This self-contradiction disproves quantum mechanics, Einstein relativity and particle physics (= standard model ) whose many free parameters artificially-fitted to experiments cannot predict anything ( this-p.1-I introduction ).

↑ Instead of the illusory unobservable fractional-charge quarks and virtual gluons, the nuclear strong binding force can be naturally explained by the ordinary short-distance Coulomb force, because there are No nuclei consisting only of protons (= like helium-2 ) without electrons (= neutrons ).

Unreal extradimensions disprove quantum mechanics.

The current only theory or everything unifying quantum mechanics and Einstein relativity is unreal extra-dimensional string theory, which fact disproves quantum mechanics.

The current only mainstream theory of everything unifying quantum mechanics and Einstein relativity = quantum gravity is the unreal 10 or 11-dimensional string or M theory with fantasy parallel universes, which fact disproves today's mainstream physics.

Relativistic paradoxes disprove relativistic quantum field theory, QED, particle physics.

Textbooks hide true paradoxes (= circular twin, Sagnac effect.. general relativity unable to conserve energy ) disproving Einstein relativity, which disproves all relativistic quantum theory, QED, particle physics.

Einstein relativity is wrong, containing many fatal paradoxes such as circular twin paradox ( this-p.40(or p.39 ) ), Sagnac effect observing faster-than-light-speed (= anisotropic light speed ) GPS signal, virtual particles with imaginary mass, lack of the medium explaining interference, violating energy conservation in an electron emitting light and general relativity.

Wrong Einstein relativity disproves quantum mechanics heavily relying on Relativity in its relativistic quantum field theory, QED and particle physics, all of which are based on unphysical Dirac equation,

Faster-than-light entanglement disproves Relativity and quantum mechanics.

If the (illusory) faster-than-light quantum entanglement spooky action is true, it disproves quantum mechanics heavily relying on Einstein relativity.

If the (illusory) faster-than-light quantum entanglement signal allegedly affecting distant light's polarization is true, it disproves both Einstein relativity (= forbidding faster than light ) and quantum mechanics whose relativistic quantum field theory heavily relying on (paradoxical) Einstein relativity.

Actually, the quantum entanglement, which is useless, unable to send any real information (= or communication ) faster than light, is caused by deliberately misinterpreting weak classical light detected by photodetectors as (illusory) photon particles.

Quantum mechanical atoms are wrong, cannot conserve total energy.

We can never find true solutions of unsolvable multi-electron Schrodinger equation that cannot conserve total energy.

In unsolvable Schrodinger equations for multi-electron atoms such as helium, physicists try to choose fake trial wavefunctions.

No matter what (fake) trial wavefunctions are chosen, they can never find true solutions or true wavefunctions (= solutions ) for the unsolvable Schrodinger equations.

Because the kinetic energy (= second derivative ) always includes a term mixing two different variables like 1/(r1 × |r1-r2| ) (= r12 = |r1-r2| is distance between two electrons-1 and 2 ), which cannot be canceled by any Coulomb energy terms consisting only only one variational (= 1/r1 or 1/r2 or 1/|r1-r2| ) to get the constant conserved total energy E.

This fact disproves quantum mechanical atoms that cannot conserved energy.

Only Bohr's real helium can conserve energy.

Quantum mechanical helium is wrong, unable to conserve energy due to its unsolvable Schrodinger equations, while only Bohr's real helium orbits can conserve energy.

The real Bohr model perfectly agreeing with one-electron hydrogen atomic energy couldn't explain three-body problem = a helium atom with two electrons due to lack of modern computers in 1920s.

Now we can get the exact Bohr's helium model with two perpendicular electrons' orbits which can conserve total energy and agree with experiments due to precise computation of each electron's velocity, Coulomb forces (= conserving energy in all points ), positions by computers.

So only Bohr's helium atom (= conserving total energy in any electrons' position ) is right, and the quantum mechanical (fake) helium wavefunction, which cannot conserve energy, is proven false.

Quantum mechanical variational methods are wrong.

We can artificially choose trial wavefuntions giving wrong energy lower than true atomic lowest energy, which fact disproves quantum mechanics and its variational methods.

Quantum mechanical variational methods are said to give upper bounds to true atomic energy with No ability to predict exact energy ( this-p.24 ).

But in fact, physicists can artificially choose fake trial wavefunctions giving wrong energies lower than true atomic lowest energies, which fact disproves quantum mechanics and its variational methods.

 

Useless quantum computers = wrong mainstream physics.

The fact that today's physics wastes money only in hopeless quantum comptuers, information shows the meainstream quantum mechanics is wrong.

Quantum computers, which are too error-prone to give right answers (= so cannot factor even 21 ), are impractical forever, contrary to a lot of overhyped fake news, like hopeless quantum internet.
