Summary

Physics uses unreal "spin" and quasi-particles.

[ "Future quantum technology ?" means "No progress". ]

Introduction

Quantum mechanics invented 100 years ago is unrealistic and useless, relying on fictitious quasiparticles to explain all physical phenomena.

Quasiparticle is unreal, having fake (= effective ) mass and charge, which are freely-adjustable to deal with different phenomena, so meaningless in predicting new reactions.

For useless quantum physics to get research funds, physicists needed to create fake target = fictional quantum computer which is supposed to exploit fantasy parallel worlds for faster (← ? ) parallel computing ?  ← still  Not reality.

To hide the inconvenient fact that the current quantum physics is useless with No progress, academia spreads fake news to deceive people into falsely believing their researches are worth taxpayers' money.

If you carefully read each quantum technology news, you will notice they make No progress, just using misleading phrases to get your hopes up.

This week physics  (7/30)    ← still No progress.

This week solid-physics is still full of unreal quasi-particle such as phonon ( this, this ), exciton ( this, this ), polariton ( this, this ), skyrmion ( this, this ).

Other unreal quasiparticles are magnon ( this ), axion ( this ), Majorana fermion, Weyl fermion ( this ), Dirac fermion.

The 4th and 5th paragraphs of this news just vaguely say "Magnons are (unreal) quasi-particles inside of magnetic materials .. There is intense interest in .. magnons because physicists believe it could be exploited for .. a field of study called spintronics ?"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Nothing is realized now.

The 4th paragraph of this news just vaguely says "is a major step forward that could unlock new horizons in harnessing quantum topology for future fundamental physics and next-generation device research ?"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Still useless research.  Unreal Dirac quasiparticle is used ( this abstract middle ).

The last paragraph of this news just vaguely says "approaches to find evidence of the Majorana fermions (= unreal quasiparticle ) traveling through the bulk of the material .. It may even be possible to control the motion of .. Majorana fermions in the system, which could be of practical use ?"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Nothing is realized now.

The last paragraph of this news just vaguely says "The new work could help physicists better understand the physics of higher-temperature superconductors. Perhaps surprisingly, the work has links to .. (imaginary) black holes ?"  ← Just speculation, still useless research.  Unreal quasiparticle is used ( this p.4 Fig.3 ).

The 2nd paragraph of this news just vaguely says "highlights the material's potential for emerging devices .. ?"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Nothing is realized now.  Unreal quasiparticle phonon and band model are used ( this p.9 right-middle )

The 1-3th paragraphs of this news just vaguely say "US officials and scientists have begun laying the groundwork for a more secure "virtually unhackable" internet based on quantum computing technology .. The agency is working with universities ..with the aim of creating a prototype within a decade ?"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Nothing is realized now.

The 2nd last paragraph of this news just vaguely says "we found strong signatures of a potentially exotic quantum state ?"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Still useless research.  Unreal exchange interaction and bogus one-electron DFT are used ( this p.2 right - 1st and last paragraphs ).

The 1st paragraph of this news just vaguely says "Quantum computers have enormous potential for calculations using novel algorithms .. they are still in their infancy"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Still useless research.  Useless one-electron DFT approximation is used in their fake quantum "simulation" ( this p.2 )

The last paragraph of this news just vaguely says "in bandgap photonic crystals, .. the quasi-crystals or metamaterials. Our findings will therefore be highly useful for future works investigating non-crystalline topological photonic materials ?"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Nothing is realized now.

The 2nd and 3rd paragraphs of this news just say "Scientists do Not really know how it (= tunnel ) works, measuring how long it takes for one type of particle (a rubidium atom) to pass through a very specific kind of energy barrier (= a laser beam ?)", and its last paragraph just vaguely says "In further investigations, the researchers would like to learn more about the trajectory of the atoms as they move through the barrier ?"  ← Just speculation, still useless research.

The last of this news just vaguely says "Their results have clear implications for many quantum measurement tasks and may be used as a firm basis for subsequent work on more complex quantum systems ?"  ← Just speculation, still useless research.

The 7th paragraph of this news just vaguely says "With fusion, nuclear holds promise for the future," French President Emmanuel Macron said in a message broadcast"  ← just talking about "imaginary future".  Still useless research, as long as nuclear physics relies on fictional particles.

The 1st paragraph of this news just vaguely says "Scientists at CERN have reported on their first significant evidence for a process predicted by theory, paving the way for searches for evidence of new physics in particle processes that could explain dark matter and other mysteries of the universe"  ← As long as physics pursues illusion as fake goal, it is useless forever.
