"Gozuryu and Bentensama"

BGM 【空を見上げて】
At the time of Emperor Kinmei, on 12th of April in the thirteenth year.
Black clouds had covered the sky since the night before, and the coast was covered with a thick fog.
A rumbling sound resounded from somewhere, and suddenly a large earthquake struck.
And a bright red pillar of fire blew up from the sea.
A few days later, when the ash subsided, a small island appeared.
Time passed, and eventually the island was covered with a deep forest and transformed into a beautiful small island.
It became popular as a picturesque island, and people came to call it "Enoshima" (the picture island).
BGM fade away.

One day, the sky was shining brightly, and
people were looking up in amazement.
And a beautiful celestial maiden accompanied on a purple cloud by a lovely little girl and quietly landed on this island.
From the shadows, Gozuryu was staring intently at the situation.
"Oh, what is that?. That's coming over here."
"It's too bright. I can't see it."
"Somebody on a purple cloud is coming down"
"That is truly Benten-sama. no doubt."
Villager exit. the background picuture is
dark.
Benten, slowly emerging from the stage right
and stopping facing the front in the center.
Gozuryu peeks out from the stage left.
Whoa, whoa. "What a beautiful woman."
Gozuryu approaches the celestial maiden
"My name is Gozuryu, I rules this area, andI want you to be my wife."
He solemnly declared as if it were a
natural right.
Benten turns around. Pause for a while.
"Hey,you! gozuryu." pause. to stifle anger.
"You swept away the fields and swallowed innocent children whole."
"How much have you caused the villagers to suffer so far?"
"Remember your sin."
"I will never be the wife of such a person."
Benten: Angrily turned away.
Gozuryu: Slides down to the left. (move to
the left edge of the stage).
BGM
【甘酸っぱい思い出】
"You should look back at yourself in the past..."
pause.
What should I do to make her smile?
"I've never wanted to be liked by someone or to see someone smile."
reflexion.
"Haha, I... what a terrible thing I've done..."
Benten: Looking away in the center
Gozuryu: Hesitantly approaches Benten
"Heavenly maiden...it's Gozuryu."
"I would like to deeply apologize for having tormented the villagers."
So... please. "Please be my wife."
Benten: Stare and turn away.
Pause. Gosuryu, come a little closer.
"Tennyo-sama, Benten-dono, please believe in me."
"I am no longer who I used to be."
"Please be my wife."
Benten: Turn around and stare at Gozuryu.
And shesmiles gentle in her heart, reaches
out to Gozuryu.
"I got it. I will believe your words and I will be your wife."
Smile and be kind.
Gosuryu rushes to Benten.
In the center of the stage, two people hug
each other.
After a while, they gently disappear below.
BGM fade away.
