This is an old tale around Kamakura City in Kanagawa Prefecture. A five-headed dragon named Gozuryu fell in love with a beautiful girl.Eventually, the two got married and lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time, about 1,500 years ago.
In the mountain called Fukasawa in Kamakura, Sagami Province,there was a bottomless swamp, and a fearsome dragon called Gozuryu lived there.Gozuryu often came down to the village to do bad things and torment the villagers.

Gozuryu appeared from the stage left (on the right when viewed from the audience).
the music gradually faded away.
Stop in the center. pause for a moment. turn to face the front and glare at the audience.
"I'm Gozuryu, that lives in this swamp.
"More than anything else, I enjoy doing bad things and tormenting the villagers.”
"Oh yeah! , let's cut down the mountain and block the road."

"Wow, happy, happy. I break down this cliff."
"I make a flood and sink the road and fields too."
BGM3 flood , BGM4 people fleeing.

【逃げ惑う人々】
"I see villagers are running away. Hahahaha, it's fun."
"All right, next time I'll burn down the house."
"Yay!"

"Hahaha, haha, ha, ha, ha, hahaha."
Gozuryu laughs and exits to stage left.

In this way, Gozuryu would often come down to the village,repeat his mischief, and torment the villagers.
Above all, what the villagers were most afraid of was that he would suddenly come to the village, swallow the child whole and go back to the mountains.

That sacrifice allowed them to live in peace.

Every family gave up their children. Some lost their heirs. and the suffering of the villagers only increased.
