Quantum computer is useless

Quantum computing simulation of atomic energy, force or climate change is fake, just using classical computers.

(Fig.1)  Classical computer is used instead of useless quantum computer.

Quantum-classical algorithm is just classical computer.

Quantum computers are useless for chemical simulation and climate change, contrary to fake news.

Insider Brief of this hyped fake news (10/14/2025) says

"IonQ demonstrated a new quantum-classical algorithm that accurately computes atomic-level forces, marking progress in applying quantum computing to complex chemical systems."  ← fake news

"The QC-AFQMC (= quantum-classical auxillary-field quantum Monte Carlo ) algorithm, developed with a Global 1000 automotive partner, achieved higher accuracy than classical methods and enables modeling of materials for efficient carbon capture."  ← fake quantum advantage.

Fake news contradicts actual papers.

Only classical computers were used instead of useless quantum computers.

p.9-2nd-last paragraph says
"The accuracy and efficiency of AFQMC calculations critically depend on the quality of the trial wave function"  ← Useless quantum mechanics just choosing fake trial wavefunctions for unsolvable Schrödinger equations.

p.26-1st-paragraph says
"The quantum computational components of the QC-AFQMC calculations described herein were performed using classical simulators provided by the Qiskit framework... they were Not executed on physical quantum hardware"  ← No quantum computers were used after all.

↑ So this research used only classical computers disguised as "quantum simulators" contrary to the above overhyped fake news.
