How computer transistor is made ?

Quantum mechanics is unnecessary.

[ IC, transistor depend on "classical" manufacturing process. ]

(Fig.1)  Unreal quantum mechanics is not used anywhere.

How are computer's integrated circuit (= IC ) and transistor made ?  This process depends on purely classical mechanical chemical reaction.

Fantasy quantum mechanics is completely useless in all transistors and tunnel effects.

 

Etching computer's circuit

[ Classical light and lens are used in creating circuit. ]

(Fig.2)  Reduce circuit image by condensing light to photosensitive material.

They etch computer's circuit pattern on some photosensitive material by way of lithography.

Circuit pattern image is reduced by condensing light through lens.

All these processes use conventional "classical" mechanics ( not quantum mechanics ) !

 

Transistor depends on classical light reaction.

(Fig.3)  Transistor circuit pattern uses conventional photo-reaction.

On the photo-sensitive material, only parts exposed to light trigger chemical reaction and are washed away by some reactive solvent or gas.

This is how computer circuit pattern is etched on substarate ( see this p.5- ).  All these process depend on conventional classical reaction ( not quantum mechanics ).

 

Manipulating a single atom is necessary.

[ The current computer depends on "random" chemical reaction. ]

(Fig.4)  The present computer manufacturing uses "blind" chemical reaction.

The manufacture of the current computer's IC circuit depends on conventional old chemical reaction.

Etching and washing away photosensitive material ( exposed to light ) inside solvent or gas are random, voluntary chemical reaction, NOT controlled by us.

As long as we depend on these "blind" chemical reactions, the size of each circuit process cannot be reduced less than about 40 nm.

To reduce the comptuer's size drastically, we need to manipulate each single atom using atomic tweezers.  But useless quantum mechanical methods prevent it forever !

 

Computer transistor uses "classical mechanics".

The media often argue that quantum mechanics is indispensable for computer transistor and smartphone.  But it is a big lie.

Computer integrated circuits (= IC ) consist of transistors where each electron is actually moving obeying classical electrodynamics.

Quantum mechanics does NOT allow each electron to actually move.

Instead, quantum mechanics argues each electron splits into many places as vague "electron clouds" with No motion !  ← nonsense !

In transistors, each electron is moving as electric current, obeying classical concepts such as voltage and resistance, which are purely "classical mechanics".

 

Quantum mechanics = useless band theory.

[ Band theory uses pseudo-electron with fake mass in silicon ! ]

(Fig.6)  Quantum mechanics cannot deal with mulit-electron solids.

Schrödinger equation in quantum mechanics cannot deal with multi-electron atoms, molecules, solids.

So quantum mechanics replaced the whole solid crystals by abstract band theory ( this p.6 ).

In band theory, infinite electrons in semiconductor are replaced by One approximate pseudo-electron with fake mass (= this p.7 ).

This "fake" electron mass is called "effective mass", which is NOT the actual electron mass, can be negative, so unreal and useless ( this p.3 )

 

Band model is meaningless and useless.

[ It just uses classical data to express abstract band model. ]

(Fig.7)  ↓ These abstract models are really insulator, (semi)conductor ?

Insulator has very high resistance, and conductor has very low resistance.  Semiconductor's resistance is between them.

Quantum mechanics tries to express these classical mechanical phenomena using abstract band model.

In band model conductor, electrons flow easily, because there is almost no energy gap between conduction and valence electrons.

In insulator, there is a wide energy gap between these two energy levels, so electrons cannot jump up to conduction area to cause electric current.

Semiconductor's energy gap is between them, controlled by impurity and other voltage in transistor.  That's all.

These band theory in quantum mechanics is useless with NO ability to predict any new physical phenomena.

Because each time they get different experimental values such as resistance and electric current, they just artificially change fake mass and band gap to fit them.
