Overhyped quantum computers are often used as fictional goal for impractical quantum mechanical research.

Quantum computers are useless

Overhyped fake news is needed to make hopeless quantum computers appear to be "promising".

(Fig.1)  Fake news tries to associate useful fire with hopeless quantum computers.

Quantum computers are useless, far from humanity's biggest breakthrough since discovery of fire, contrary to hypes.

The 3rd, 5th, 9th, 10th paragraphs of this (or this ) or this overhyped news (7/19/2025) say
"This (= quantum computers ) could be the biggest revolution for humanity since discovering fire"  ← untrue. "Fire" has been useful from the beginning while quantum computers are impractical forever.

"it (= overhyped quantum computers ) could (= just speculation ) change everything, by creating new drugs and materials, increasing longevity, and enhancing encryption and logistics, to name just a few examples"

"in December, Google said its Willow quantum chip solved a problem in less than five minutes that would’ve taken the world’s fastest supercomputer 10 septillion years"  ← fake news.  Fictional quantum parallel universes can do nothing.

"But a quantum computer has yet to solve a useful real-world problem faster than a classical computer could,.. quantum information, still suffer from too much noise, or disturbances that can lead to computation errors."

↑ So this overhyped fake news says contradictory things: "error-prone useless quantum computers could calculate some problems faster than classical supercomputers, that could develop drugs like the biggest discovery of fire !"

Overhyped commercial quantum computers with No practical use in China.

The 1st, 8-9th, 2nd-last, last paragraphs of this hyped news (7/21/2025) say
"developed third-generation superconducting quantum computer, has achieved commercial deployment at multiple locations in China, researchers,.. engineering Research Center in Hefei,."  ← hyped commercialization of useless quantum computers deployed only to research centers, Not to ordinary consumers.

"it (= still useless quantum computers ) is like a rocket, whereas traditional computing is "a car,"  ← untrue, today's hopeless quantum computers are far from "rocket".

"Quantum computing could slash the time to train artificial intelligence (AI) from weeks to mere hours"  ← overhype

"unveiled a superconducting quantum computer prototype named Zuchongzhi 3.0 with 105 qubits"

"The achievement also set a new record in quantum computational advantage"

Just 105 qubits, far from a practical quantum computer.

Just 105 error-prone qubits are useless, still Not a computer, far from millions of qubits required for a practical quantum computer (= so this is used only for research purpose, Not for practical application ), contrary to hypes.

This-8-9th-paragraphs say
"Our method is like equipping a classical large model with a 'quantum engine"
"weights into a hybrid of quantum neural networks and classical tensor networks."  ← These "misleading hybrid" computers are just classical computers.

Insider brief of this site says
"The research remains a demonstration rather than a commercial deployment, and No peer-reviewed study has been released"  ← Detailed information remains hidden.

Money should be allocated to useful things for residents, instead of being wasted on hopeless hyped quantum computers.

Quantum computers are hopeless in Illinois Quantum computer park, just harming residents.

The 2nd, 3rd, 7th paragraphs of this hyped news (7/23205) say
"This technology has extraordinary potential,.. It could lead to breakthroughs in major economic sectors from energy, health care, cybersecurity, finance and more."  ← hype, untrue

"The biggest announcement from happenings at the event came from Infleqtion,... The company announced it will (= still unrealized ) build the first utility scale quantum computer based on neutral atom technology"

"But, some South Side residents have pushed back against the development of the IQMP (= Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park )"

↑ Even the latest research of this Infleqtion made only 24 error-prone atomic qubits (= one qubit can take only 0 or 1 value, this-p.3-1st-paragraph ), which just 24 impractical qubits are still far from a practical quantum computer requiring millions of qubits.

↑ Money should be spent on useful things for residents instead of being wasting on hopeless overhyped quantum computers, which proved to be fraud.

Quantum computers are often used as fictional targets for impractical quantum mechanical research.

Measuring lights emitted from gold clusters have nothing to do with quantum computers, contrary to hyped news.

(Fig.2)  Overhyped fake news says different things from actual papers.

There is a wide discrepancy between overhyped fake science news and actual papers to hide today's deadend quantum mechanical research.

The 1st, 2nd paragraphs of this hyped news (7/22/2025) say
"The efficiency of quantum computers, sensors and other applications often relies on the properties of electrons, including how they are spinning..."

"Now, a team of researchers... has demonstrated how a gold cluster can mimic these gaseous, trapped atoms"

This research papers' abstracts say nothing about any practical use such as (fictional) quantum computers, contrary to the above hyped news headline.

This Figure 2~Figure 6 shows this research just measured energy levels or lights emitted from the gold cluster under magnetic field (= Zeeman effect or MCD = magnetic circular dichroism detecting light ), which did Not see the (unreal) electron spin itself, nor have anything to do with quantum computing.

Impractical quantum mechanical research needs fictional quantum computing target.

Harvard's hyped grating metasurface just diffracting light has nothing to do with room-temperature photon quantum computers, contrary to fake news.

The 4th, 9th, last paragraphs of this hyped news (7/24/2025) say
"( Harvard ) created specially designed metasurfaces—flat devices etched with nanoscale light-manipulating patterns—to act as ultra-thin upgrades for quantum-optical chips "

"the work embodies metasurface-based quantum optics which, beyond carving a path toward room-temperature quantum computers and networks, could also benefit quantum sensing"  ← fake news

"I'm excited about this approach, because it could (= just speculation ) efficiently scale optical quantum computers and networks"

This research paper's abstract says nothing about (hyped) quantum computers nor sensing, contrary to the above hyped news.

This-p.25-p.26 shows this experiment just applied laser light through a very bulky grating Si metasurface, and the diffracted light was detected, which has nothing to do with quantum computing nor practical application.

This-p.12-note.6 says 0.75K temperature.  ← The room temperature photon's quantum computer is a lie ( this-7th-paragraph ).

Fake news tries to connect impractical quantum mechanical quasiparticle model with hyped quantum computers as illusory application.

Just impractical theory with nonphysical quantum mechanical model with No experiments nor real particles is falsely treated as potentially boosting (fictional) quantum computers by fake news.

The 1st, 4th paragraphs of this hyped news (7/24/2025) say
"A new theory-guided framework could (= just speculation ) help scientists probe the properties of new semiconductors.. or discover materials that boost the performance of quantum computers."  ← fake news

"Now, MIT researchers have proposed a theoretically justified approach (= just theory, No experiment ).. Their method reinterprets neutron scattering, an often-overlooked interference effect as a potential direct probe of electron–phonon (= fictional quasiparticle model ) coupling strength."

Just nonphysical theory with No experiments nor any practical application.

This research paper ↓

p.1-abstract says nothing about any practical application such as quantum computers, contrary to the above hyped news.

p.1-right-2nd-paragraph says "In this Letter, we theoretically propose a novel experimental scheme"  ← Just an impractical theory with No experiments in this research.

p.5-right-2nd-paragraph says "Future experiments (= still unrealized ) configuration based on this proposal will benefit various studies.."

p.8-16- The impractical quantum mechanics describes (fictional) particles only as nonphysical useless math symbols with No actual shapes, which hampers science.
