京都「東寺」

東寺は、8世紀末に建立された、空海（弘法大師）ゆかりの寺。
Toji is a temple related Kukai (Kobo Daishi), which was built in the 8th century.
「東京大仏」乗蓮寺阿弥陀如来
Great Buddha in Tokyo
関東大震災（1923年）、東京大空襲（1945年）の犠牲者供養と「天災」や「戦災」が二度と起きないことを願い開眼。
Open eyes for the victims of the Great Kanto Earthquake(1923) and the Tokyo Air Raid(1945), for the hope that "natural disasters" and "war damages" will never occur again.
伊勢神宮「内宮鳥居」

鳥居は神聖な場所である神域への門。Torii is the gate of sacred place.
伊勢神宮「正宮（皇大神宮）」

Ise Jingu is a guardian deity of all Japanese people, being at the center of Japanese faith throughout its long history.
会津「若松城」福島の地元では「鶴ヶ城」
Wakamatsu Castle or Tsuruga Castle in Fukushima prefecture
1868年戊辰戦争の際、新政府軍の猛攻に耐えた城。明治7年に取り壊し、昭和40年に5層の天守閣復元。
The castle withstood the onslaught of new government forces during the 1868 Boshin War. It was demolished in 1894, and the five-story castle tower was restored in 1965.
