1. Origins of Science and Modern Science
In ancient Greece, the sentence written by Zenon of Elea, who was older
than Socrates, that "the flying arrow is stopped," has been repeatedly
debated by philosophers. This is because even if it is expressed in words
or images, it shows that it is not the thing of the real world.
There is a problem to activate intelligence unlimitedly. Intellectual activity is carried
out in the cerebral neocortical using language, but intellectual activity
tends to suppress the activity of the cerebral system. The periphery system
is between the brainstem and the cerebral cortex, and is involved in the
integration of emotions, memories, instincts, primitive sensations, and
responses of the free-standing system. The basic function tends to weaken
the life of the information society. It was with the origin of civilization.
It is said that ancient Greek temples were dedicated with a document that
said, "Refrain from extremes!” or “Refrain over do anything!"
Old testament tells the story of the Tower of Babel. There is a story that
everyone speaks the same language in the land of Babylon, and "Let's
build a tower that reaches the heavens, and thereby make our name famous",
but on the way we got too close to God and touched God's wrath, and the
words became available. Babylon is the place where the name is known in
the Code of Hammlabi. The name of the place means "gate of the gods"[1].
The words left by the philosophers who love the wisdom of ancient Greece
are helpful to know what is the essential. Heraclitus, who is said to be the first natural scientist, said, "No
one can wash their feet with the same water again. Because everything is
flowing and changing. [2]. Civilizations has been metabolizing.
If the environment changes, it reacts, and if it reacts, the environment changes. If the environment changes, so on. Matter adapts to the environment, cells adapt to the in vivo environment, and organisms adapt to ecosystems. In this way, all things follow the changes together through history. However, the information remains the same. In the 21st century, the life in a science-based human society became conspicuously far from that in the natural world.
If every human being is repeating the same thing together, it will fail. Today, we are looking for pioneers in new fields.
