(Fig.1) ↓ Skyrmion, monopole = fictitious quasiparticle !
Quantum mechanis has given up clarifying true microscopic mechanism.
Quantum mechanics just fabricates fictitious unreal quasiparticle with fake mass and charge to explain experimental results, so useless.
Magnetic monopole doesn't exist, physicists just try to create fake "monopole quasiparticle" inside atomic gas.
Skyrmion is also unreal quasiparticle which just express some "magnetic pattern" inside material.
As you see, instead of clarifying true microscopic mechanism, the current basic physics is going in the opposite direction, creating fake artificial particle.

Probably, ordinary people don't understand what this experiment means.
Because this research contains nothing important as real physics.
They illuminate atomic gas with laser light, and the light is scattered by atoms in yellow or red direction (or other ). That's all. Nothing done here.
They tries to use this system (= atomic gas + scattered light ) as "virtual quantum model" with two parameters.
For example, they might use these atomic gas to express fake monopole model, or something.
So quantum mechanics focuses only on creating fake artificial things using unrelated material as a virtual quantum model.
(Fig.3) ↓ This has nothing to do with fantasied quantum computer.
This research has nothing to do with fantasied quantum computer.
They just describe some "classical circuit" consisting of solenoid and capacitor as "a single artificial atom (= qubit )" of imaginary quantum computer.
Of course, if there is only a single (artificial) atom, they cannot make computer.
So this experiment just used this single classical circuit as a sensor of magnetic field ( Not as computer ) using mechanism similar to solenoid.
No quantum computer here. This research is purely classical electromagnetim, and useless.
