Teen prodigy Fujii Sota has set another record in shogi, a Japanese board game similar to chess. He has become the youngest player ever to hold three major professional titles.
- １０代の天才、藤井聡太さんがまたもや将棋の記録を塗り替えました。将棋はチェスに似た日本のボードゲームです。藤井さんは、主なプロ将棋のタイトル３つを保持する史上最年少の棋士になりました。
Fujii defeated Toyoshima Masayuki in the final match of the best-of-five Eio title series on Monday. He won his third major title at the age of 19 years and one month, breaking a 28-year-old record.
- 藤井さんは月曜日に、五番勝負の叡王戦における最終局で豊島将之さんを破りました。藤井さんは１９歳１か月で３つ目のタイトルを獲得し、２８年ぶりに記録を更新しました。
"The most important thing for me is to get as strong as I can. I will put priority on that challenge, rather than aiming for records such as the longest winning streak."

Fujii's career has been full of records. He became the youngest professional shogi player in history at 14 years and two months. He went on to win 29 games in a row, and took his first major title last year.
