U.S. REPORT: ORIGINS OF UFOs REMAIN UNKNOWN

A highly anticipated U.S. report on UFOs touched down on Friday. It shows the government has no explanation for dozens of sightings of mysterious objects in the sky.
- 大いに期待されたＵＦＯについての報告書が金曜日、ついにやって来ました。報告書が示したのは、政府は空中の謎の物体の数多くの目撃について説明できないということです。
The report says there have been 144 observations of what officials call "unidentified aerial phenomena," or UAP, since 2004.
- 報告書は、２００４年以降に政府が未確認航空現象、つまりＵＡＰと呼ぶものの目撃が１４４件あったと述べています。
One case was attributed to a large, deflating balloon. But the others remain unexplained, mainly due to a lack of data.

The report says it's possible they could be connected to technologies used by China or Russia.

It avoids using words such as "alien." But U.S. media cited senior government officials as saying extraterrestrial origins can't be ruled out.

The documents also note 11 near-misses with aircraft, warning the objects could "pose a challenge to U.S. national security."
