Now to Myanmar, where a Japanese journalist who was detained in the country has been released and returned to Japan.
- 次はミャンマー（のニュース）です。その国（ミャンマー）で身柄を拘束された日本人ジャーナリストが解放され、日本に帰国しました。
Myanmar's state-run media reported the move was made out of consideration of future ties between Myanmar and Japan.
- ミャンマーの国営メディアは、この動きはミャンマーと日本の将来的な関係に配慮して行われたと伝えました。
Kitazumi Yuki arrived at Narita Airport near Tokyo on Friday evening. He thanked people who worked for his release.
- 北角裕樹さんは金曜日の夜、東京近郊の成田空港に到着しました。北角さんは、自身の解放のために尽力してくれた人たちに感謝しました。
He said he regrets he had to leave Myanmar as he wanted to keep reporting from the country.
- 北角さんは、ミャンマーから取材をし続けたかったので、出国せざるをえなかったのは残念だと語りました。
"I'll continue to tell the situation in Myanmar to the people in Japan and other countries."

Kitazumi had been based in Myanmar since 2014. He was arrested nearly a month ago after covering demonstrations against the military.

He was indicted on charges of fueling anxiety among citizens and spreading false information.
