In the United States, the Senate has approved Amy Coney Barrett's appointment to the country's top court.
- アメリカでは、議会上院がエイミー・コニー・バレット氏の連邦最高裁判所（判事）への任命を承認しました。
Lawmakers voted 52 to 48 in favor, almost exclusively along party lines.

Barrett was sworn in at a large White House ceremony a short time later.
