「（その）瞬間とは、ウイルスを克服したというだけでなく、私たちが抱える内なる悪魔を克服した瞬間でもあるのです」
"The moment when we overcame hatred, the moment when we overcame illusions and delusions, and trusted the truth, and came out as a much stronger and more unified species."
「憎悪を克服した瞬間、幻想や妄想を克服し、真実を信じた瞬間、そしてより強く、より団結した種として現れた瞬間であるのです」
Harari reminds us that the post-coronavirus world is not about eradicating COVID-19, because the virus is not going to go away.
ハラリ氏は、新型コロナウイルス後の世界とは、新型コロナウイルス感染症を撲滅させたことではないことを私たちに思い出させてくれます。なぜなら、このウイルスはなくならないからです。
If we all join forces to care rather than kill, we'll be making better choices for what lies ahead.
もし私たちが殺すよりもむしろ皆で助けることに協力すれば、行く手に控えていることに関して私たちはより良い選択をしていることでしょう。
