A U.S. spacecraft with two NASA astronauts on board has successfully docked with the International Space Station.
- ＮＡＳＡ＝アメリカ航空宇宙局の宇宙飛行士２人を乗せたアメリカの宇宙船が、国際宇宙ステーションとのドッキングに成功しました。
The Crew Dragon, developed by U.S. firm SpaceX, docked on Sunday, about 19 hours after launching from Florida. It's the first private manned spacecraft to reach the ISS.
- アメリカの企業「スペースＸ」によって開発された「クルードラゴン」は日曜日、フロリダでの打ち上げから約１９時間後にドッキングしました。「クルードラゴン」は、民間企業の有人宇宙飛行船として初めて国際宇宙ステーションに到達しました。
The U.S. mission is also the first in nine years to use a domestically built rocket ship, following the retirement of the space shuttle fleet.
- 今回のアメリカの宇宙飛行は、スペースシャトルの一団が退役してからの９年間で初めて国産ロケット船を使用した飛行でもあります。
NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley received a big welcome from ISS crewmembers.
- ＮＡＳＡのボブ・ベンケン宇宙飛行士とダグ・ハーレー宇宙飛行士は、国際宇宙ステーションの乗組員から大歓迎を受けました。
This journey is the final test for the Crew Dragon. NASA said if it's a success, it will carry out the first operational phase launch on August 30.

Japanese astronaut Noguchi Soichi will be among the crew.
