英文あらすじ（Synopsis）：

Chihaya, with now unconscious Aya in her arms, swims through the hatch and down to the lower decks.

―上を振り向くと、さっき潜ってきた艙口が薄ぼんやりと見えている。
　「うっ」
　ふいに、気泡が口からこぽこぽと漏れる。千早は、自由な右手で自分の喉元を押さえた。
　（私･･･息･･･してないんだ）

　As she swam, Chihaya did her best to locate herself with her clouded vision. Faint hints of sunlight shimmered from the hatch above her.
　Suddenly, bubbles of air trickled out of her mouth. Chihaya felt her throat with her free hand, alarmed at the building pain in her chest cavity.
"Gosh," thought she, "I AM NOT BREATHING."
