The present physics cannot make any progress, stuck in useless old physics 100 years ago.
This useless physics forces physicists to invent "fictional" target = symmetry, topology, unreal quasiparticle such as Weyl and monopole.
Symmety, topology are just math, Not real physics, so useless, this is the reason they often mention unreal parallel-world quantum computer as "fake" target.
They just measured electrons, and misinterpret them as unreal quasiparticle to create their artificial state "symmetry" of this quasiparticle's fictional motion.
So the present quantum physics just meaninglessly tries to invent unreal particle to explain their unreal artificial theory. ←useless, forever.

This news says quantum computer is still only a few dozen qubits, but may soon hold sway over 100 or more (= still useless ).
This is a typical example of investment fraud, so fake news.
They just want to get subsidy, keep saying "Quantum comuter will be reality in near future !", though it will never happen.
Just increasing qubit number is meaningless, they have Not yet realized parallel-world computing even in small-number qubits.

Invisible dark matter was introduced to explain galaxy rotation.
Strange to say, No dark matter is found nor felt around the earth.
Physicists try to detect this imaginary dark matter using very sensitive detector. These methods contradict the original theory.
If dark mater really exerts strong power enough to push the entire galaxy, we can easily feel those strong winds of dark matter ! But nothing is felt.
It's natural to think the space is filled with the common medium which exerts strong forces such as electromagnetic, gravitational forces, galaxy rotation.
Artificial dark matter and unreal virtual particle are unnecessary.
