Japanese holidaymakers will soon be able to head to Hawaii without going into quarantine.
日本人観光客は間もなく、隔離期間を経ることなく、ハワイに向かうことができるようになります。
The U.S. state is easing entry restrictions as coronavirus infections decline there.
そのアメリカの州は、新型コロナウイルス感染が減少しているのを受けて、訪れる際の制限を緩和しています。
The popular tourist destination has been demanding visitors quarantine for 14 days. But officials are lifting that for some travelers.
人気の観光地であるハワイは、訪れる人々に１４日間の隔離を要求してきました。しかしハワイ州当局は、一部の旅行者について、その制限を撤廃します。
From Thursday, visitors from other U.S. states were able to skip quarantine. That's as long as they had a negative result in an approved test.
木曜日から、アメリカ国内のほかの州から訪れる人は隔離をしなくてすむようになりました。このことは、承認された検査で陰性の結果が出た場合に限ります。
They also had their temperature checked on arrival.
訪問者はまた、到着時には検温もされました。
And Hawaiian authorities say visitors from Japan will follow soon, also using pre-travel virus tests.
そしてハワイ州当局によれば、日本から訪れる人が間もなく（基準緩和に）続くことになり、同じように旅行前にウイルス検査も利用します。
