我々の顔につばを吐き、呪うのだろうか？ 

The fireball that shamed the sun,

Leaving desert for the thirsty man.

太陽をあざ笑う火球が
地上の影を燃やしている
あの雨が降り、地が干上がる
喉が渇いた男に砂漠を残して去ろうとしている 

They all said it would end the war,
And we thanked Christ for the bomb,
And the priests and witches all agreed,
They should die to keep them free.
