NO73 Mary (A whole New World.)☆
This painting is based on my story from the Holy Spirit.
When several years passed from Mary and Jesus came to Bethlehem, God saw Jesus grow up to be able to walk alone for long distances and appeared in a dream to Joseph saying,“Take the Child and His mother, and go to her hometown, Nazareth.
“So, the next morning, he arose, took the Child and His mother and left Bethlehem for Nazareth.
On their way, they dropped in Jerusalem to say, “Goodbye” to Anna, a prophetess, of the tribe of Asher.
That time, Anna said to Mary, “I miss you so much. But I am happy to see Him grow up so gently.
Then I ask you that please let Him go to Tyre where my hometown is.
Because, on your way, you can see the sea you know. And tell Him a story about the sea, for knowledge of gentile’s culture.
I had heard your mother was Asher, and you and your Son have the same blood as Asher, a tribe of the sea.
You know, we lost our people and land. From that day, a lot of water passed away under the bridge.
But God blessed me and my eyes. because I could see Him whom many prophets and kings have desired to see and have not seen.
I see hope in Him. So, I can say that God will help His servant Israel, whom I believe from my heart, in remembrance of His mercy, as He spoke to our fathers, Abraham, and his seed.
I will pray for you from this place as long as I live on the earth.” Mary heard that and kept those words in her heart,saying ,
“Our heart is the same as you. God with you.”
Then Joseph with his wife Mary and her Son Jesus went out to the country of Judea.
And they came and dwelt in a city which is Mary’s hometown, Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled what was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”
When they recovered from the fatigue of the journey, behold, a man of God came out of Judah by the word of the Lord into Nazareth.
And he stood at the door of the house of Mary and knocked. When Mary heard it and opened the door, a total stranger man stood by the door, saying,
“God bless you. Lord heard a prayer of Anna you know and sent me to show her hometown. So, may I come in?” Mary answered, “Of course. Please come on in.”
At the time Joseph was home with Jesus, and he believed the words. So, he said to Him. “Lord loves the smell of Lebanon. Because His most holy place in the temple is made from cedar trees of Lebanon, and also Your cradle was.
Further, the prophet said about You that His branches shall spread, and His beauty shall be as the olive tree, and His smell as Lebanon. Therefore, Go! God with you all.”
Then they were going to Tyre, which used to be Asher's land, beyond the Galilee mountains. On their way, they went through a town which is called Sepphoris.
That area is called the land of the Gentiles. Therefore, many Greek temples, gates, statues, and monuments were on their way.
Then Jesus saw that and asked Mary, “Do they have stories?” Mary answered, “Yes, they do.” So Mary talked about a variety of the Greek myths which she knew.
Then it came dark, the man of God went to a house, and showed Mary and Jesus behind him, and said, “May we have a room for a night? Because the Lord needs it.”
Then a master of the house willingly offered a room with supper for them.
So they could have a good rest on one bed that night. And the man was a keeper them neither slumber no sleep by the door through the night.
Then the next day,they went out to the country of Galilee and came into Phoenicia.It came about noon, and they arrived near the sea.
Then Mary remembered Anna’s request and chose this story since that was Phoenicia.
Because, also, thought, this story bore witness which how great a blessing she received from God compared with other gods’ deeds.
Therefore, she thought this little bit of stimulating story was good for her Son who was the fruit of the Spirit even a young boy. Then she began to tell and chose a word carefully.
”Many years ago, there lived the king of gods named Zeus in heaven. Although he has a wife named Hera, he loves beauty on Earth.
One day he saw a beautiful girl named Europe from heaven, she was the daughter of the king of Phoenicia.
And he fell in love with her at first sight. So, as usual, he had a strong desire to get her soon.
He makes plans to get her and did. The next morning, when she goes out with her maidservants at the sandy beach, Zeus changed into a beautiful cow and approached her very gently.
And the daughter saw that the cow was lovely, and looked desire for her ride, so she had done.
That very moment, the cow gave her a ride on his back and ran away passing through the midst of maidservants.
Then they have gone over the sea with a whirlwind.”While Mary talking about it, they arrived at the beach.
Then Jesus saw the sea in front of Him and said with a loud voice, “How spectacular it is! It is this sea! this sea!“
And He was running around there. And He asked Mary in excitement. “What happened to the next? Mother.“ Mary answered and said, “They arrived at the island that is called Crete.
According to their myths, Zeus changed back into himself and appeared as the king of gods in front of her.
And took her with his desire and got a son without love. His name is Minos he is a judge of Hades.”
Jesus heaved a deep sigh and said, “What a god! How poor people！ worship such a king of gods.
And more poor people! who was given a judgment by such a judge without love. I will help her with Father in heaven.”
Then Mary said, “No! Zeus changed his name to Jupiter, worshiped by Roman people as their god. And also, all of us are under Roman occupation now.
So, first of all, our Salvation. Second of all salvation of Europe. I suppose that Father in heaven will pick up a man who can speak Greek very well. Because Roman’s god speaks Greek also.”
When He heard that, He was thinking for a while. Then behold, there appeared Moses on the cloud in heaven and also Elijah who rode on a chariot of fire that is drawn by horses of fire with a whirlwind in heaven.
And both they cried out to Jesus, “Son of man! We will hear You again on another day about this matter!” Then they went up into heaven. Jesus was taken aback by this happening. And asked Mary.
“Who are they?” When Mary came to, she drew near Jesus, and said with a small voice, “They are Moses and Elijah.
Both are our great prophets. Moses saved our people from Egypt.
When the army of Pharaoh was right behind them, the troubled sea was approaching in front of them.
At the time, Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and divided it.
And the people of Israel went on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
It is a great miracle by God. So, he is a great leader still now.
And Elijah slew many Baal’s prophets at the brook Kishon. He won his battle against the Gentile god. So, he is a great fighter who is expected to come back till now.
And this path is the way that he walked. And I think he is nothing but a man who serves God. Now they called you, ‘Son of Man,’ because of me. But You are the Son of God in that I believe.”
Then Jesus said to Himself, “What shall I do for them?” Mary answered Him, “Nothing now yet. But You must learn about The Word which is written in their Book.”
Then the man of God drew near Him and said, “My Lord, we will protect You until the time which is decided by God.” that it might be fulfilled what was spoken by the Bible, saying,
“For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways,” When Mary heard that she said to Jesus, “Jesus, mind You this happening now is just between us.”
As she said, Mary did not tell Joseph about this happening and kept it in her heart. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that a puppy appeared and followed Him willing.
Then Jesus asked Mary, “Mother give Me a piece of bread to feed one, please.” But she said, “No! Jesus No! There is no Israelite with dogs. Dogs eat dogs. So, never feed stray dogs.”
But Jesus felt sorry for it and said, “This one has a hungry look. May I?” Mary said, “Never!” Jesus said again, “Why?” Mary said flatly, “Because, mind You. Your mother says so.”
Jesus shook His head and said to Mary, “Ok, Ok I got it.” And turned to the dog, and said, “Poor little puppy! I am very sorry, I cannot help you well enough yet, let alone help Europe even Israel.
But if you can keep a good manner, I will be back here and help you.” And after a while, Jesus said, “I am very thirsty.” So Mary said to Him, “See! A lot of water is in front of You.”
Then He said, “Can I?” Mary said, “Try licking a little.” And He frowned when He did and said, “What water! So salty not to drink!”
Mary said, “That is right. Sea water cannot be drunk as salty. Here’s water for You.” Mary gave Him water in a skin bag. Jesus drank it and said,
” Fresh water is good! No necessary salt as salty.” Mary heard it and said, “Yes, fresh water is good. But You will thirst again.
Once in a certain city, the water was naught, and the ground was barren. Therefore, Elisha, the disciple of Elijah, cast salt unto the spring of the waters.
And the water was healed as the Lord said, there was not be from thence any more death or barren land.
And also if the salt loses its flavor, how will You season it? Therefore, a good housewife is an expert at salt.
And sometimes the salt serves as money. So, everyone needs it to live.. If You want to be a great leader, have salt seasoned with heaven and never thirsty water in Yourself.
That shall be given You from Your Father in heaven. I believe You can do it. And everyone will follow You.”
Then Mary closed her eyes and said within herself, “In the beginning, before the world was, the darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And You as God sent forth the Spirit to me, created Him by It, and He was born from me.
Therefore, He had with You before the world was. And now, You renew all the face of the earth with Him.”
And Mary lifted her face and said, “Thanks, Father. For You so loved the world that You gave Your only begotten Son through me. Look, Jesus! There is a whole New World beyond the sea.”
This painting represents that Christianity had the Judaism foundation and awoke in the land of the Gentiles in Galilee who were through Hellenism influence and also will go out beyond the sea to a whole New World.
