mn@UT@Mary, you are the treasure.
This painting is based on my story from the Spirit.
Joseph's father Jacob was a carpenter, and he was engaged in building Herod's temple with Joseph.
While he was a master carpenter, he went to Tyre several times to procure the wood of Lebanon.
On his way to Tyre from Jerusalem, he dropped into Nazareth to meet his old friend Joachim.
He had a daughter named Mary. She was still in her middle teens at the time.
When Jacob saw Mary for the first time in several years, he was amazed to see how she had grown into a fine daughter.
He thought that his son Joseph should marry this beautiful girl.
But she seemed a little innocent and naive.
So, he asked her a question and said,
"Mary, if you plow up a field of other people alone and found a pot full of gold coins. What would you do?"
but before her answer, Joachim who had heard this question said to Jacob.
"O my old friend Jacob! son of David. Please do not look at my beloved daughter so suspiciously. She does Moses's commandments.
So, she shall say to the field owner, 'Sir I found this pot in your field. So, this is all yours.' that's all her answer, any answer else.'"
However, Mary said to him, "Father, I never say like that. Of course, I know Moses's commandments.
So, I prefer another way to do it. First of all, I borrow money from my father and go to the owner's house and say,
'I like your field. So, please sell me that field.' After I get it, I will dig out the pot.
Then I go to father's place and say, 'Father, this is a receipt of field and a pot full of gold coins which had found in your field.
So, both these things are yours.'"@Jacob heard of that and said, "Joachim my old friend! You are blessed with a wonderful daughter.
And Mary, God blesses you and your wisdom. Amen!"
However, he said to himself, "Mary, you did dig out treasure, but in fact, you are a real treasure. And now I have dug out it indeed."
Then he made up his mind that makes Joseph shall marry her soon.
The Bible also said, (The proverbs of Solomon 10-1~2)
"A wise son makes a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivers from death."
After this, grew up Jesus briefly referenced this mother's story as a parable of heaven.
And more after, Jesus who ascended in heaven said, "I am the Root and the Offspring of David."
@I can understand the first half easily. because He is obviously at the beginning of all.
But even He as God could not become the Offspring of David without Mary marrying Joseph.
So, I believe that He blessed David, also proud of Mary as His mother.
Because that word leads to The Ten Commandments of Moses which are given by God.
He said," Honor your father and mother: that@your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God gives you."
Also, John said," For God so loved the world that He gave His only@begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
These words connect in heaven perfectly.
And I used the color of ripe grapes for this young Mary's clothing.
Grapes are the color by which Jesus would represent Himself.
It is also the color of ripe figs. Jesus used figs as a parable for Israel.
True to this parable, Israel will bear fruit so mature that its name will be known worldwide after the next 30 years or so.
The color of this grape is suitable for being the mother of Israel.
And this painting represents the beginning in which Jesus become the Offspring of David as a human being.
