™‚m‚n@‚U‚R@Mary and Martha
Now it happened as they went that Jesus entered Bethany which was near Jerusalem, and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.
And she had a younger sister called Mary, who also had been a rest alone in her room, for the custom of women is upon her.
When Jesus entered the room being concerned for her, she said, "Lord, why do women have the custom of women?
I am fed up nowadays with it. I want to walk around everywhere like a man. That makes me so happy you know."
Jesus answered and said to her. "Mary, listen to Me now. LORD gave one day of the Sabbath in one week to men, also He gave other days of monthly Sabbath for women.
For the days let make yourself calm down with Father in heaven.
And no one reproach for it. For example, when Jacob's wife Rachel ran away with her husband from her father Laban, she stole the images of her father.
And, when Laban ran after them, she had taken the images and put them in the camel's furniture and sat upon them.
And she said, 'Father, I cannot rise up before you; for the custom of women is upon me.' However, he did not reproach her at all, and even neither doubted.
Because he feared for the function of Jacob's father's God and Abraham's God.
And when Adam's wife Eve gave birth to firstborn Cain, she said,' I have gotten a man from the LORD.' He who opens a woman's womb and also shuts it is the LORD. You shall not make light of that."@
There Martha entered the room approached Him and said, " Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."
And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." His words agitated Mary, and she said within herself.
"O that He was as my brother Lazarus, that sucked breasts of my mother!
When I should find Him without, I would kiss Him; yea, I should not be despised. Set me as a seal upon Your chest, as a seal upon Your lips:
For love is strong as death: Jealousy is cruel as Hades:
The coals thereof are coals of fire, which have a most vehement flame.
Many glasses of water cannot quench love, and neither can the floods drown it.
O, LORD, please bless my womb!"
Mary and Martha have no husbands. But neither of the sisters felt lonely.
Because they are young and also beautiful women. So, they have a lot of fun with people.
However, Mary felt that Jesus whom is first met had a different point of view from others.
There she stretched out her arm with closed eyes, and her hand touched His hand.
That very moment, she felt vehement power from Him. Immediately she felt that blood in her womb was dried up.
This painting is based on The Gospel According to Luke chapter 10, and I also added my own story by the Holy Spirit.
