God is Love. (Why are you weeping.)™
This painting is a very famous theme in the New Testament, and the resurrection is Christianity itself.
Jesus is Son, and there is Father behind Him in heaven, and His breath is the Holy Spirit. They are one.
It was never seen before His resurrection. So, I might say Mary Magdalene is the first who entered the Holiest by the blood of Jesus.
The Epistle to the Hebrews says, that Jesus has set a new and living way, which He consecrated for us, through the veil,
that is, His flesh and Holy Spirit also says that this is the covenant, that He will make with them after those days, says the Lord:
I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds, I will write them. Human laws have been written in books.
But His laws were put into the human heart. His laws are Love. Because, Hebrew writer also says, that let us stir up love and good works.
Now in this painting, two angels are shouting to her to leave here quickly. Mother Mary and her sister Salome departed just now.
But Mary Magdalene is here yet. So, do you suppose she might get a punishment like Zacharias for rejecting the angel's words?
No, I do not think so. Because she is seeking Jesus with all her love. Paul says that the fruit of the Spirit is love.
And against such, there is no law. So, I can state the sudden appearance of Jesus is His new covenant. That means God is Love.
As Jesus emphasized, again and again, love helps answer the question of "Why we believe God"
Then this painting represents the resurrection of Jesus and His new covenant "God is love".
