mn 44 The Dry Bones Live (Reconstruction of Israel)
BC597 year, Ezekiel, the son of a priest was among the first Babylon captives.
The day was in the fifth year of his king Jehoiachin's captivity. And He received the calling from God as a prophet.
And God gave a sort of hope to Israel who had been depressed by Babylon's captives through him. The vision was like this.
The day, the Lord brought him out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set him down amid the valley; and it was full of bones.
There were very many in the open valley, and they were very dry indeed. And the Lord said to them
"Surely, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. And I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live."
Then there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.
Indeed, as he looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over.
And they lived and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Then the Lord said to him,
" Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, 'Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we are cut off! '
So, the Lord God said, "I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel."
And the Lord said again, "Surely, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their land;
and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel."
Now the Lord God gave them amazing grace. The word was fulfilled in 1948.
Israel has been reconstructed indeed. I bless the Lord.
