Our friends in America (Part 2)

Seeing Begonias in the planter in front of our house, Tsugi, our guardian, showed us some photos saying that Paula, Lily and Linus's guardian in Pennsylvania, likes to grow flowers and they are one of her many favorite annual flowers

"Wow! this is her flower garden. Every summer she has lot of flowers." "Linus and Lily look very happy. Maybe they also like flowers. Fuh, you also like flowers, especially edible flowers." "Yuh, you are a keen observer. By the way, do you know why Paula named our friends "Lily and "Linus"?

12 years old (about 58 pounds)

"Paula says that Lily's full name is "Lily of the Valley" which is a favorite flower of hers.  It was blooming when her husband and she got Lily." "She seems to be very friendly and has a warm look, doesn't she?. " Yes, indeed. The name suits her very well."

(about 48 pounds)

"Fuh, how about Linus? " "Linus' name comes from the "Charlie Brown" cartoon. You know the cartoon.  Linus is the little boy who always carries his security blanket.  Paula says the name is so perfect for him because he is a little shy and he needs to be reassured all of the time." "How did she get him?" "He was a stray. She is not sure what his past may have been." "That's why he is a litle shy, but he is happy to live with Lily, Paula and her husband, Scott." "I think so."

	"Fuh, why are Paula and Scott smiling" "They are looking at Lily and Linus" "What is Lily doing?"
	" She is making a jack-o'-lantern." "Really? She seems to smell it." "Yuh, imagination is very important to lead a happy life."
	"I see. I'm sure that Linus admires her work." "Yuh, that's right. He likes her as she is a sweet sister."

"She is taking a nap on the Futon in the sunroom , her　favorite spot and Linus looks on." "Both of them must have gotten treat without fail.They seem to have had enough. Fuh, I am hungry." "Me, too."

Goodboy, Good Friend Lily

1 year old

"Fuh, her name is Lily, too. She lives in California. Sitting on the back of the couch , she enjoys watching her world go by!" "She looks like a princess." "Yes, like me."

1 year and 7 months old

"He is Brannigan in New York" "Yuh, he looks mischievous just like you." "His guardian, Bernie says that he is very innocent and she could never stay angry with him for more than 10 seconds." " Tsugi always tells everyone the same thing about me."

Jacob -3 years old, 　　Stella-3 years old 　　Cassie- 10 years old

"Fuh, are they all friends?" "No, Jacob(left) and Stella (middle) are a couple. Cassie is their friend. They live in New York. This is a photo taken at the Michigan Bassethound Rescue's Waddle." "They are used to having their picture taken, aren't they? I can't stand still while Tsugi takes my picture, so my pctures are often out of focus." "Yes, they look so nice different from you."
