忠犬ハチ公生誕100年で秋田犬が集合

A street in central Tokyo was overrun by dozens of Akita dogs for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Japan's most famous canine, Hachiko.

The loyal Akita used to wait for his master to return from work each day at Shibuya Station, a practice that continued even after his owner's death.

About 40 Akita dogs and their owners from around the country gathered in Shibuya for the event.
