Human rights group Amnesty International has decided to close its two offices in Hong Kong after four decades.
- 人権団体のアムネスティ・インターナショナルが、香港にある２つの事務所を４０年間（の活動）の末に閉鎖することを決めました。
The group says Hong Kong's national security law has made it ''effectively impossible'' for human rights groups to operate freely in the territory without fear of serious government reprisals.
- アムネスティ・インターナショナルは、香港国家安全維持法は、人権団体がその領土（香港）で政府からの厳しい報復を恐れることなく自由に活動することを「事実上、不可能」にさせたと述べています。
The organization announced on Monday the local office focused on human rights education in the territory will cease operations on Sunday.

The other office will close by the end of the year. It carries out research, advocacy, and campaigning work in East and Southeast Asia as well as the Pacific region. Amnesty said the regional office's work will continue from other locations.
