U.S. immigration authorities say they will not issue visas to foreign university and high school students if all of their classes are offered online.
- アメリカの移民当局が、全ての授業をオンラインで行う大学と高校への外国人留学生にはビザを発給しないと発表しました。
It comes as universities nationwide consider ways to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Guidelines announced on Monday say foreign students who are already in the United States could be asked to transfer to schools with in-person classes, or leave.

Some top universities have already decided to hold all classes online.

The U.S. issued visas to 400,000 foreign students in fiscal 2019.

On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted that "Schools must open in the fall."
