Quantum mechanics is useless in biology.

Quantum biology is a fictional pseudo-science irrelevant to actual biology and medicine that do Not use the impractical quantum mechanics.

(Fig.1)   Quantum biology is a fake biology relying only on fictional useless quantum mechanical concepts. ↓

Quantum biology is useless, unreal

Unrealistic quantum mechanics has been useless for any technologies including biology and medicine.

Recently, the dubious science field called "quantum biology" seems to be illogically gaining attention by various exaggerated fake news.

This quantum biology is just a useless overhyped pseudo-science irrelevant to real biology ( this-lower-quantum biology today,  this last-paragraph,  this p.2-left-1st-paragraph ).

This 4-6th-paragraphs say  -- Illegitimate quantum biology
"This lack of experimental verification is one of the main reasons that the field is considered inconsequential.. by the established quantum and biophysics communities"

"Another reason quantum biology is Not considered a legitimate field of science"

This-lower-still room for acceptance (2025) says  -- Fake biology
"quantum biology continues to face skepticism outside the trenches...
Physicists may view biology as too messy and complicated for systematic analysis, while biologists may see quantum mechanics as too far from the scales and behaviors they are accustomed to."  ← Quantum mechanics or quantum biology is impractical.

Quantum biology is deadend, No progress.

Overhyped quantum biology is still useless and unable to clarify biological mechanisms despite 100-year-old quantum mechanics, because it's pseudo-science.

This recent quantum biology summary-2026 ( this paper ↓ )

p.3 talks about  -- Fake quantum sensors
MRI (= magnetic resonance imaging ) and nitrogen-vacancy center (= NVC ) in diamonds as quantum sensors, which is wrong, all of these alleged quantum sensors can be explained by classical orbits replacing unreal electron spin, classical proton spinning (= MRI ) whose energy levels are affected by external electromagnetic field (= which is sensed ), which does Not need quantum mechanics that can Not predict any multi-electron atomic energy levels.

p.4-right-3rd-paragraph says  -- Unclear quantum effects
"How organisms utilize quantum effects in the warm, humid environments of biological systems, where dissipation and decoherence readily occur, remains an enigma"  ← still unknown quantum biology.

p.4-right-2nd-last-paragraph says  -- Unknown quantum
"These observations hint at the possibility of quantum effects playing a role in the remarkable efficiency of photosynthetic light harvesting. However, further research is needed to elucidate the nontrivial mechanism"  ← still quantum mechanical effect in photosynthesis is unknown.

p.5-left-3rd-paragraph says  -- Unknown mechanism
"but it remains to be elucidated how the sidechain guanidinium group contributes to the catalytic reaction"  ← still catalytic reaction is unknown.

p.5-right-1~2nd-paragraphs say  -- Unknown quantum tunnel
"The mechanisms underlying directional and efficient transfer via quantum tunneling are not fully understood"

p.6-left-1st-paragraph says  -- Useless quantum biology
"The transformation of laboratory-level prototypes into commercially viable and affordable devices remains a significant challenge"  ← quantum mechanics is useless.

Quantum biology lacks evidence.

No evidence of quantum mechanics (= illusory superposition, superluminal entanglement.. ) used in biology.

This-lower-Criticisms ~ Looking ahead says
"many publications in the field of quantum biology lack numerical support for their hypotheses or fail to produce undisputed evidence"

"Scientists have yet to benefit from exploiting these very quantum tools as proposed by quantum biology researchers"

Quantum biology baselessly claims each unbreakable single particle can be unrealistically in two different places or superposition states at once like a dead and alive cat living in fantasy parallel worlds, which can Not be observed or proved.

All other concepts included in the quantum biology are also just a fictional ungrounded pseudo-science, as seen in quantum consciousness, immortality, arrow of time, superluminal spooky entanglement, negative-kinetic-energy tunneling.

Quantum mechanics is useless in biology.

Quantum biology is pseudo-science ignored by actual biologists.

The 1st-2nd paragraphs of this site say
"yet we're still not that much closer to figuring out how strong an association there is between the two, or whether there really is a viable link at all. Quantum biology is still very much an unknown.."

".. Not only are the intricate details of quantum biology not fully understood, but the basic concept is also the source of much confusion."

The 2nd paragraph of this or this says  -- Unreal quantum mechanics
" However, in many ways quantum mechanics is still a concept alien to biology.."

The 8th paragraph of this says  -- Impractical quantum biology
" quantum biology is still predominantly theoretical.."

The current only atomic theory = unrealistic quantum mechanics has been useless and ignored by biologists and medical researchers ( this or this 4.Biologists'view,  this 12th paragraph,  this-abstract-first ).

Quantum mechanics is still unable to explain atomic mechanisms behind many biological reactions such as brain ( this 5th paragraph ), cancers.. ( this 2nd paragraph,  this 2nd-last paragraph,  this or this-p.2-left ) despite 100-year-old fruitless researches, which fact shows quantum mechanics is hopeless pseudo-science.

Quantum computers are impractical forever.

Overhyped quantum computers are useless for any technologies including biology.

(Fig.1')  Quantum computers are useless, too error-prone to give right answers, unable to cure diseases.

Quantum computers are useless forever.

Quantum biology tries to rely on quantum computers that are overhyped, impractical forever.

An incredible amount of the overhyped media desperately tries to connect (hopeless) quantum computers (= useless forever, needing fantasy parallel universes ) with the illusory quantum biology or medicine.

This-lower-Challenges at intersection of science and profit (2025) says
"quantum biology isn't without hurdles. Critics argue that the field is still in its infancy, with much of the research resting on theoretical foundations."  ← Quantum biology is just a useless pie-in-the-sky theory.

This or this-lower-Challenges and future prospects says  -- No quantum computer
"Quantum biology, despite its promising potential, faces several significant challenges that need to be addressed before its full commercialization (= still impractical ). One of the primary hurdles lies in the technical stability and scalability of ( fictional parallel-universe ) quantum computing."

Despite an incredible amount of overhyped fake news, this latest news' 3rd paragraph (2025) says
"our analysis shows No consistent evidence that quantum algorithms outperform classical methods"  ← No quantum advantage

The 3rd-last paragraph of this (2025) says  -- Just theory No experiment
"The quantum computing world should take serious notice (= this research p.10-12 is just about imaginary theory without performing any experiments nor using quantum computers )"

Quantum computers cannot factor even 21.

Today's error-prone quantum computers cannot factor even 21, much less discover drugs.

Today's quantum computers are useless, too error-prone to give right answers, unable to factor even the simple 21.

↑ It is impossible for these useless quantum computers to discover drugs or cure cancers contrary to overhyped fake news.

This-lower-Limitations, risks.. say  -- No quantum advantage
"Despite its promise, QML (= quantum machine learning ) faces limitations and will require more work in order to fully exploit for drug discover,.. In many cases, classical AI may remain faster and more practical for years to come."  ← Classical computers are better

This hyped research (2026) ↓

p.9-right-3rd-paragraph says  -- Useless quantum computer
" Current quantum devices have demonstrated the ability to simulate systems of approximately 100 qubits (= far from practical millions of qubits ); however, mapping that scale onto realistic biomolecular systems remains out of reach for NISQ hardware and will require error-corrected, fault-tolerant system"

p.11-left-last-paragraph says  -- Significant challenges
"While significant challenges remain in scaling quantum devices and developing robust distributed architectures,"  ← still impractical quantum computers despite long years of researches. = No progress.

Hybrid computers are classical computers

Useless quantum computers make scientists turn to hybrid quantum computers that are just classical computers.

This overhyped highlight is just about classical computer's simulation of some "quantum" methods instead of using today's impractical quantum computers.

This recent news (11/2025) ↓

6th-paragraph says  -- Impractical quantum computer
"Current quantum hardware, while advancing rapidly, is still limited in the number of qubits, susceptible to noise and errors, and unable to perform the deep, precise calculations required for industrial-scale drug discovery."

7th-paragaph says  -- Hybrid classical computer
"Because fully quantum simulations are still out of reach, researchers are increasingly using hybrid approaches that combine classical computing" ← hybrid computer is just a classical computer

This-lower-Limits and near-term realities (2026) says  -- Impractical quantum
"The paper does Not downplay the challenges of implementing quantum or hybrid quantum strategies. Current quantum computers operate with limited numbers of qubits and are sensitive to noise, restricting the size and depth of calculations they can perform. Encoding classical biological data into quantum states — a prerequisite for quantum machine learning — can itself be computationally expensive, potentially offsetting theoretical speedups."

"As a result, many near-term applications are likely to rely on shallow quantum circuits, problem-specific heuristics, or quantum-inspired algorithms that borrow ideas from quantum computing but run on classical hardware."  ← So only classical computers without noisy (= error-prone ) quantum computers are useful.

Quantum photosynthesis is unreal, useless.

Quantum mechanics tries to explain photosynthesis by using unreal exciton quasiparticles, parallel-world superposition (= coherence ), and one-pseudo-electron DFT model that cannot predict nor clarify any real mechanisms.

(Fig.2)   Photosynthesis by quantum biology is based only on fictional concepts that prevent clarifying real mechanism and science development. ↓

Quantum photosynthesis relies on parallel universes.

Quantum biology says photosynthesis uses (unreal) superposition (= coherence ) where molecules are in multiple states simultaneously by parallel universes, which have No evidence.

Quantum biology baselessly claims the molecules involved in photosynthesis are in unseen superposition (= or coherence ) states where ground and excited states exist at the same time like a dead and alive cat living in (fictional) parallel universes, though it still has No evidence ( this 4th-last paragraph,  this p.5-last ).

This 2nd~3rd paragraphs say  -- Unreal quantum superposition
"Ten years ago, researchers reported evidence that photosynthesis - the process by which green plants and some bacteria turn sunlight into chemical energy - gains light-harvesting efficiency by exploiting the phenomenon of "quantum coherence". This involves the superpositions of electronic quantum states, which seem able to explore many energy-transmitting pathways at once"

"The question has been hotly debated over the past decade...
And some researchers insist that such coherence plays No useful role in photosynthesis at all."

↑ Quantum coherence means (photosynthetic) molecules are in multiple energy states simultaneously by using unseen quantum superposition or parallel worlds like a dead-and-alive cat, which is unobservable with No evidence.

Quantum superposition has No evidence.

Quantum biology tries to treat photosynthetic molecules oscillating between ground and excited states as fictional superposition or parallel worlds of two ground and excited states at once.

This or this denying quantum photosynthesis ↓

2nd-paragraph says  -- No quantum photosynthesis
"after a controversial 2007 experiment found that something called quantum coherence appeared to play a key role in how plants make energy. But a new review of experiments has demonstrated that photosynthesis probably isn't as quantum as scientists thought."

4th-paragraph says  -- Superposition = photosynthesis ?
"complex is made up of pigment and protein molecules and acts as a sort of wire connecting the light-harvesting part of a cell to the center where photosynthesis occurs.... They spotted a pattern of oscillations they deemed to be evidence that the complex incorporated quantum coherence, essentially taking on a superposition (= unreal parallel worlds ) of multiple electron states at once, to find the most efficient route to transfer energy."

6th-paragraph says  -- No quantum mechanics
"They conclude that the energy transfer process is just an incoherent hopping process, where excitations caused by sunlight jump between molecules, rather than a process governed by the weirdness of quantum mechanics."

This-p.4-2nd-paragraph says  -- Unreal quantum quasiparticle
"the energy difference between the two excitons (= unreal old quasiparticle model ) giving rise to that particular quantum coherence"
"For example, at cryogenic temperature, coherences between ground and excited states in FMO dephase in approximately 70 fs"

↑ So they just measured some photosynthetic molecules oscillating between ground-state and excited state called coherence or Rabi oscillation, which is often wrongly treated as a sign of (illusory) quantum superposition of the simultaneous ground (= 0 ) and excited states (= 1 ) in parallel worlds, which turned out to be just classical oscillation irrelevant to quantum mechanical photosynthesis.

No quantum biology in photosynthesis.

Still No evidence of quantum coherence or superposition (= parallel worlds that are unobservable ) in photosynthesis.

This recent news (2026) ↓

6th-paragraph says  -- Useless quantum mechanics
"However, harnessing quantum coherence and entanglement could potentially (= still unrealized ) overcome this limit... While significant challenges remain"  ← still useless quantum mechanics

7th-paragraph says  -- No quantum coherence
"skepticism remains.... the observed coherence may be a transient phenomenon, insufficient to significantly impact overall efficiency. Kalai points out that even fleeting coherence is vulnerable to decoherence, and the noisy cellular environment is likely to disrupt quantum effects before they can have a substantial impact"  ← still No evidence of quantum mechanics in photosynthesis.

3rd-last-paragraph says  -- No quantum biology
"The ultimate goal is to identify universal principles that govern the interplay between quantum mechanics and life. This is a challenging endeavor,"  ← still No quantum mechanics in biology.

↑ Whether photosynthesis really uses (fictional) quantum superposition (= parallel worlds ) or not is still controversial ( this-9th-paragraph,  this p.6-left-3rd-paragraph ), which means whether photosynthesis actually uses (fictional) quantum superposition or not has No influence on our daily life.  ← Quantum biology is a useless pseudo-science.

Actually, it is impossible to see the (fictional) quantum coherent superposition or a dead and alive cat living in parallel worlds, because we can see only one state or one world at once.  ← the unseen quantum superposition is a meaningless concept in anything including quantum biology or photosynthesis.

Quantum photosynthesis unreal quasiparticles.

Quantum biology tries to explain photosynthesis by unreal exciton quasiparticle model with freely-adjustable parameters lacking real particle shape.  ← Quantum mechanical model is useless, cannot predict anything.

Furthermore, quantum biology tries to explain the mechanism of photosynthesis using very old fictional particles called "exciton quasiparticles ( this 3rd-paragraph,  this 5th-paragraph,  this abstract-last,  this 13th paragraph )" with fake effective mass (= these unrealistic masses can be artificially changed even to negative mass ), which cannot clarify real photosynthetic mechanisms.

This-first-figure says  -- Unreal exciton quasiparticle
"Excitons are technically Not particles, but quasiparticles ( this-1st-paragraph ). They are formed by the electrostatic attraction between excited, negatively charged electrons and positively charged hole"

These fictional quasiparticles frequently used in the current quantum mechanical researches are expressed just as nonphysical math symbols which abstract expressions tell us nothing about detailed physical mechanisms ( this p.3,  this p.2-left-last,  this p.15 ).  ← Science stops progressing.

This-V-Discussion-7th-paragraph says  -- Unknown mechanism
"Analyzing the excitonic (= fictional quasiparticle ) landscape and its full coupling pattern is highly relevant as light-harvesting mechanisms in photosynthetic organisms still have Not been fully resolved. "

No evidence of quantum mechanics in photosynthesis.

Quantum mechanical unreal exciton and superposition model cannot predict nor clarify real photosynthesis.

The 5~6th paragraphs of this hyped news say

"The team has succeeded in providing robust evidence of electronic and vibrational quantum coherence (= unseen quantum superposition or just classical oscillation of molecular states irrelevant to quantum mechanics ) by performing 2D electronic spectroscopic measurements at 20K"  ← Too low temperature that has nothing to do with the normal photosynthesis at room temperature.

"The results could potentially (= still useless research ) advance our understanding of the fundamental processes underlying photosynthesis,"

Quantum mechanics cannot explain photosynthesis.

Quantum mechanics relies on unreal exciton quasiparticle model and freely-adjustable parameters that cannot predict photosynthesis.

This research paper on quantum photosynthesis ↓

p.2-right-middle says  -- No quantum mechanical prediction
" We further construct an excitonic model (= fictional quasiparticle ) and refine the parameters by simultaneously fitting them to the experimental spectra"  ← Just fitting experimental results to fictitious exciton model and artificial parameters with No quantum mechanical prediction.

p.11-12 describes electrons and fictional exciton model as nonphysical math symbols with No shapes, and they just artificially adjusted parameters to experiments ( this p.3.p.6,  this p.5-6, p.10 ).

p.12-left-last-paragraph says  -- Free parameters, No prediction
"The reorganization energy has been fixed by fitting to the absorption spectra at different temperature. The unique set of η and ωc (Ohmic spectral density) is refined by fitting to the experimental anti-diagonal bandwidth of the main peak in the 2D spectra"

↑ Physicists just tried to explain the observed light interacting with molecules by fictional exciton quasiparticle model (= No shape, so No practical use ) and artificially adjust parameters with No quantum mechanical prediction (= No quantum mechanical evidence ).

So there is No evidence of quantum biology or fictional exciton quasiparticle in photosynthesis.

Just unreal theory, No experiment.

Photosynthesis has nothing to do with fictional quantum mechanical exciton quasiparticles

This overhyped research is just about imaginary theory of fictional exciton quasiparticle with No experiments ( this-p.9-11-methods )

Quantum mechanics cannot predict photosynthesis.

Useless quantum mechanics tries to describe photosynthetic chlorophyll molecules as unreal superposition (= parallel worlds ) or one fake electron DFT model with artificially-chosen exchange potential functional, which cannot predict anything.

The 4th paragraphs of this hyped news (2025) say  -- Unreal superposition
"Green plants and other photosynthetic organisms use quantum mechanics to capture and transfer sunlight with remarkable efficiency (= hype )... When light is absorbed in a leaf, for example, the electronic excitation energy is distributed over several states of each excited chlorophyll molecule; this is called a superposition (= fictional unseen parallel universes ) of excited states."

This 3rd-paragraph says  -- No evidence of superposition
"But as yet there is No unambiguous experimental evidence that a single living cell can maintain or utilize quantum superposition states"

This research paper's p.10-11-Materials-methods  -- No quantum prediction
They measured light or spectroscopy from some chlorophyll molecules of spinach, and tried to interpret it by using unphysical one-pseudo-electron time-dependent- DFT or TDDFT with artificially-chosen unreal exchange potential functionals (= SCS-ωPBEPP86 using artificially-adjustable parameters without quantum mechanical prediction, this-p.4-scale-parameters, chosen functionals,  this-p.6,7-left ) and rough (Tamm-Dancoff) approximation (= often fail ), which can Not predict anything nor validate quantum mechanics.

Birds don't use quantum mechanics.

Fictional superluminal quantum entanglement, which cannot send any information nor do any work on objects, is irrelevant to any chemical or biological reactions, contrary to hypes.

(Fig.3)   In a bird's eyes, two molecules excited by light and weak earth's magnetic field are 'linked' by (imaginary) superluminal quantum entanglement !?  ← quantum biology is useless pseudo-science

Quantum mechanics is useless in birds.

Quantum biology tries to apply the unfounded superluminal entanglement to migratory birds' eyes sensing earth's magnetic field.

Some researchers proposed another unfounded idea that migratory birds may feel the earth's magnetic field through (fictional) quantum mechanical faster-than-light spooky action called entanglement.

↑ But quantum entanglement can Not send any real information nor do any work to receivers ( this 2nd-paragraph,  this 4th-paragraph,  this-2nd-paragraph ), so entanglement that cannot influence other molecules is a completely meaningless concept also in biology and birds.

No evidence of quantum entanglement in birds.

Quantum biology claims bird's eyes' molecules excited by light may generate entangled electrons' radical states that may sense the earth's magnetic field as signal.  ← Superluminal entanglement is unrelated, doing nothing in this process.

This recent paper (11/2025) ↓

2nd-paragraph says  -- Vague entangle
"When light strikes cryptochrome, it generates pairs of radicals—molecules with unpaired electrons. These radicals’ electrons become quantum-entangled (= useless ), meaning their states are inextricably linked despite spatial separation. Earth’s magnetic field, though weak (~50 microtesla), subtly influences the spin states of these entangled electrons, altering the chemical reactions they undergo. This magnetic sensitivity translates into biochemical signals that the bird’s brain interprets as directional information"

4th-paragraph says  -- Bird's eyes entanglement ?
". It begins when photons from sunlight or starlight excite cryptochrome proteins in the retina, triggering an electron transfer that splits a molecule into two radicals. Each radical carries an unpaired electron, whose spin state—either aligned (singlet) or opposed (triplet = just energy states, electrons spin is unreal, unseen )—determines the subsequent chemical reaction. Crucially, the electrons in these radicals are quantum-entangled, meaning their spin states are correlated even as they separate (= just two radical electrons' states are correlated, irrelevant to superluminal entanglement )."

5th-paragraph says  -- Magnetic changes electrons ?
"Earth's magnetic field interacts with the radicals via the Zeeman effect, which shifts the energy levels of electrons based on their spin orientation. This interaction alters the balance between singlet and triplet states, modifying the yield of reaction products. For instance, a stronger magnetic field might favor triplet states, producing a distinct chemical output that the bird’s nervous system detects"

7th-last-paragraph says  -- Unclear quantum effect
"However, disentangling quantum and classical contributions remains a challenge"

4th-last-paragraph says  -- No evidence of quantum
"Despite these strides, key questions remain unresolved. For instance, how do birds integrate quantum signals with classical navigational cues like star patterns or landmarks ?"

↑ Still No experimental evidence nor consistent theory of (fictional) quantum entanglement in birds.

Birds don't use quantum entanglement.

No evidence of biology using (illusory) quantum superluminal spooky entanglement that is useless, unable to send any real signal.

This last-paragraph says  -- No entanglement
"Ironically, entanglement itself may not be essential to the process that allows birds to see a magnetic field"

This 4th-paragraph says
"However, proving quantum entanglement in biological systems has been challenging"

This 2nd-last-paragraph says  -- Unknown mechanism
"It's not clear whether the higher sensitivity of robin CRY4 in laboratory tests is a result of evolutionary pressure for migratory birds to have a better magnetic sensor"

Even this hyped site (= lower-What scientists still don't know ) admits (2025)
"Pieces of the cryptochrome puzzle continue to emerge. No single expert can claim to have the complete story...
yet more studies are needed."

No evidence that (fictional) quantum entanglement (= that cannot send any real information ) may influence migratory birds ( this 10th-paragraph ).

Quantum mechanics cannot explain birds.

Quantum mechanics has to rely on free parameters and one pseudo-electron DFT model with freely-chosen exchange energy functional, which cannot predict nor clarify birds' eyes sensing magnetic field.

This recent paper (2024) ↓

p.1-left-2nd-paragraph says  -- Unknown mechanism
"However, it remains mysterious why migratory birds can detect the geomagnetic field vector with such high precision"  ← still mechanisms is unclear.

p.3-left-2nd-paragraph says  -- Choosing free parameters
"Note that the optimized parameters are chosen from the best several results"  ← Just choosing optimized parameters without quantum mechanical prediction.

This last links to this research paper (= about quantum biology in birds in 2021 ) whose abstract says nothing about quantum entanglement, contrary to the above hyped news.

This research paper p.20(or p.19) tried to explain this bird's eye molecule by using the unrealistic model (= that can clarify nothing ) such as time-consuming useless molecular dynamics (= MD ) and one-pseudo-electron density functional theory with artificially-chosen CAM-B3LYP exchange energy functional lacking real atomic picture, which just hampers clarifying true mechanism..

This artificially-chosen CAM-B3LYP hybrid exchange energy functional (= potential ) includes several freely-adjustable parameters (= you can freely choose parameters to fit experimental values instead of quantum mechanical theory predicting them ), so No quantum mechanical prediction (= No proof of quantum entanglement in bird's eyes )

Quantum mechanics cannot clarify nothing.

The 1st-paragraph of this (2026) says  -- Unclear quantum
"What we didn't understand are the mechanics of it all: how a light-sensitive protein complex called cryptochrome lets birds tap into the Earth’s weak magnetic field."

This research (= p.9--left-concluding remark ) also used the useless quantum mechanical DFT with artificially-chosen exchange-correlation potential functional (= empirically-fitting to experiments is needed, this-abstract ) which cannot predict nor prove quantum mechanical effect nor faster-than-light entanglement in migrating birds, contrary to hypes.

No evidence of quantum entanglement in biology after all.

No quantum mechanics in neutrons

Quantum biology baselessly claims (fictional) superluminal entangled photons may make neurons' communication faster,

(Fig.3')  Nerve's myelin sheath emits entangled photons or lights ?  ← Actually, quantum entanglement is meaningless, useless.

No evidence of entanglement in neutrons.

Brain's nerve's myelin sheath or consciousness does Not use quantum entangled photons, because entanglement sending No information is useless.

This overhyped news on quantum biology (2024) ↓

2nd-paragraph says  -- Neutrons' entangled photons ?
"Now, a research group in China has shown that many entangled photons can be generated inside the myelin sheath that covers nerve fibers. It could (= just speculation ) explain the rapid communication between neurons,"  ← false. entanglement transmits No information

2nd-last-paragraph says  -- Still unknown
"their result is a combination of two phenomena that exist but are still largely mysterious: consciousness (let alone quantum consciousness) and quantum entanglement"

Last-paragraph says  -- No entanglement evidence
"We won't say there is a direct connection. At this early stage"  ← still No evidence of quantum entanglement inside nerves.

This research paper ↓

p.7-right-last-paragraph says  -- Just theory, No experiment
"We consider that no biphoton state will be generated when the thickness of the myelin sheath is.."  ← this research is just unfounded theory with No experiments.

p.8-left-Discussion says  -- Unreal model
"It should be noted that our model is very crude (= inaccurate ). The actual electromagnetic field should take into account the coupling of photons to the vibron ensembles, i.e. polaritons (= unreal quantum quasiparticle model will never clarify true mechanism )"

Quantum tunneling with unreal negative kinetic energy

Quantun mechanics baselessly says tunneling (= electrons penetrate a thin insulator ) is caused by (unreal) negative kinetic energy, which can be replaced by realistic de Broglie wave's pressure.

(Fig.4)   Quantum tunneling based on unreal unmeasurable negative kinetic energy is useless for discovering transistors and actual biology.

Quantum tunneling by unreal negative kinetic energy.

Quantum mechanics says electrons can go through a very thin insulator by exploiting (unreal) negative kinetic energy, which is impossible.

Quantum mechanics ridiculously claims that transistors and quantum biology may use quantum tunneling based on unreal negative kinetic energy ( this-p.84,  this-2~3rd-paragraphs ).

The point is quantum tunneling is Not a ghost-like phenomenon but a natural classically-possible (= realistic ) phenomenon where electrons can naturally jump between two atoms which are separated by a very short distance less than 1 nm under applied voltage through the air or vacuum which empty space (= No real barriers or walls ) is wrongly treated like a "rigid imaginary wall" or insulator (= imaginary potential wall, though precise potential energy between atoms separated by extremely short distance is unknown ) by irrational quantum mechanics.

Unreal quantum negative kinetic energy

Quantum mechanical tunneling based on negative kinetic energy is impossible, unreal, replaceable by classical phenomena.

Quantum mechanics just imagines "illusory potential energy wall", and makes an unscientific claim that each electron can penetrate such an invisible potential barrier by having unrealistic negative kinetic energies ( this p.4-2nd-paragraph,  this-1st-paragraph ) without deeper explanations.  ← Pursuing deeper truth is prohibited by the unrealistic quantum mechanical model !

It is impossible for electrons to go through (imaginary) potential barriers by (unreal) negative kinetic energy-tunneling, because all electrons should stop at the the point of zero kinetic energy point (= all electrons have to pass the zero-kinetic energy point before entering the unreal negative kinetic energy barrier region ), so cannot advance to the negative-kinetic energy region nor tunnel in quantum mechanical theory.

Quantum tunneling is just classical phenomenon.

Quantum tunneling is just a classical phenomenon (= de Broglie wave interference ) without using the unrealistic quantum mechanical negative kinetic energy based on fictional potential.

↑ Electrons can naturally flow over such an extremely thin space (= only 1 nm ) by ordinary thermal fluctuation or de Broglie wave interference even without relying on unrealistic negative kinetic energy ( this-1st-paragraph ) of quantum mechanics.

As shown in various double slit interference experiments of a single electron and a single molecule (= separation between two slits is 100nm ~ 1μm ), de Broglie wave can influence and modify motions of other electrons or particles at a distance of 100nm ~ 1μm ( this-1 μm,  this-p.6-280 nm,  this-p.8-p.12-100 nm ), which distance is long enough to explain quantum tunneling.

Actually in superconducting circuits or SQUID, de Broglie wave related to magnetic flux quantum is known to cause tunnel current through Josephson junction.

No evidence of negative-kinetic energy quantum tunneling in biology.

As a result, quantum biology can never be useful as long as the irrational quantum mechanical atomic model stubbornly refuses to clarify detailed underlying physical mechanisms behind fantasy quantum superposition, parallel worlds, faster-than-light entanglement and ghost quantum tunneling.

Actually, the 3rd-last paragraph of this says  -- Unknown quantum
"There is still a long and exciting road ahead of us to understand how biological processes work on the subatomic level,.. In the future (= still useless ), we are hoping to investigate how tautomers produced by quantum tunneling can propagate and generate mutations.."  ← quantum biology is still useless except for speculating imaginary future, repeating only uncertain "future" phrases.

No proof of the quantum tunneling with (unreal, unseen) negative kinetic energy involved in biology.

This-p.12-right~p.13 shows  -- No quantum mechanical prediction
quantum tunneling can be expressed only as an abstract meaningless equation (= No quantum mechanical prediction using Schrodinger equation or DFT ) that can Not clarify any detailed mechanism such as (unreal) negative kinetic energy.

Quantum mechanics cannot cure Alzheimier.

Quantum biology baselessly claims tryptophan molecules may absorb harmful UV light by some quantum effect to protect neutrons against Alzheimer.

(Fig.5)   Contrary to overhyped fake news, quantum biology is useless for any science such as brain, Alzheimer, (parallel-world) quantum computer

Quantum biology is useless in Alzheimer

Superradiance (= collective light emission ) has nothing to do with quantum mechanics nor protection against Alzheimer, contrary to hypes.

"researchers has discovered a distinctly quantum effect in biology that.. may (= just speculation ) also present a way for the brain to protect itself from degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's. The result,.. is not only an important discovery for neuroscience, but also suggests new applications of techniques for quantum computing researchers,"  ← hype

5-paragraph says  -- Illusory photon
"A lone molecule of tryptophan displays a fairly standard quantum property: it can absorb a particle of light (called a photon = just classical light ) at a certain frequency and emit another photon at a different frequency. This process is called fluorescence"

6th-paragraph says  -- No quantum photon nor superradiance
"when many, many tryptophan molecules are arranged in a symmetrical network, like they are in larger structures like centrioles,.. they fluoresce stronger and faster than they would if they were fluorescing independently. The collective behavior is called "superradiance,"  ← this superradiance or collective light enhancement can be explained by classical light, the unphysical quantum photon particles cannot overlap nor enhance each other (= so No quantum superradiance ) like classical light wave.

11~12th-paragrpahs say  -- Alzheimer = just speculation
"Alzheimer's have been associated with high degrees of oxidative stress-;when the body carries a large number of free radicals, which can emit damaging, high-energy UV light particles.
Tryptophan can absorb this ultraviolet light and re-emit it at a lower, safer energy."

"Scientists envision potential (= still unrealized ) breakthroughs in precision medicine, clean energy solutions, and data processing that borrow nature’s quantum tricks."

↑ The 3rd-last paragraph of the same research's news says
"limitations remain. The experiments were performed on purified lysozyme crystals under lab conditions, and it's unclear how the observed effects play out in the complex environments inside living cells"  ← still the (fictional) electron spin's involvement in biology is unclear.

This research paper ↓

p.1-abstract says nothing about any practical use such as clean energy, contrary to the above hyped news.

p.2-Fig.1(B) says "The lysozyme crystal (= Not real lysozyme inside bodies ) is positioned atop alternating Ni and Au electrodes electrically connected. A constant magnet is placed beneath the device, allowing to magnetize the Ni layer."  ← So they consider this magnetized Ni as the fictional electron spin that can be replaced by electron's orbit.

p.2-right-2nd-paragraph says "we demonstrate that the proton transfer process in Lysozyme crystals is coupled to electron transfer. By the injection of spin-polarized electrons (= just orbits from magnetized Ni ) into the crystal, we show a relations between the efficiency of proton transport in the biological crystals"

p.4-left-2nd-paragraph says "Additionally, at higher humidity, protons are more likely to transfer through water molecules"

p.6-Methods made No mention of quantum mechanics nor electron spin, so this research is irrelevant to quantum biology or quantum mechanical prediction.

↑ So this experiment just measured the electric resistance of lysozyme crystals (= Not original lysozymes inside organisms ) under various humidity (= protons tend to be transferred in this water ) and applied magnetic field (= fictional electron spin ? ) with No quantum mechanics nor biology involved.
