Mee-chan was a curious little kitten with bright fur. One sunny morning, she spotted a blooming flower in the garden. She walked closer and asked:
Mee-chan: "Who are you?"
"I'm a morning glory!" the flower replied. "Every morning, the sun wakes me up, and I smile."
Mee-chan: "Do you love the sun? What do you do at night?"
"The stars watch over me, so I can rest peacefully," said the morning glory.
Mee-chan: "If you'd like, I can watch over you at night instead of the stars!"
The morning glory smiled. "Really? That would be wonderful! Thank you, Mee-chan! You make me feel so safe!"
From then on, Mee-chan spent her nights keeping the garden safe. She chased away bugs and whispered to the flowers. In the morning, the morning glory greeted her with a bright, happy bloom.
