A Japanese airline is hoping to take gender representation to new heights with a more inclusive greeting.
日本の航空会社が、より包括的な挨拶を用いることで、性別に関する表現において新たな高みに到達したいと願っています。

「おはようございます。日本航空４７便、ヘルシンキ行きは……」
That is the first thing passengers on flights with Japan Airlines will hear from now on.
これが、日本航空の便を利用する搭乗客が今後最初に聞くアナウンスです。
Gone is the old "ladies and gentlemen" greeting. In its place? "Attention, all passengers."
「レディース・アンド・ジェントルメン」という古い挨拶は無くなりました。その代わりとは？「ご搭乗の皆様にお知らせいたします」です。
The change has already received some positive reviews from guests, who hope other companies will follow suit.
この変更は利用客からいくつかの好意的な反応をすでに得ており、利用客らはほかの企業が後に続くことを願っています。

"We've introduced this change because we think it's important to be free from fixed ideas and come up with new services that make every customer feel comfortable."

The company says it has already made some other changes, including creating a more gender-neutral uniform option for female flight attendants.
日本航空によると、すでにいくつかのほかの変更を行ったとのことで、これには性別による区別がより少ない制服という選択肢を女性の客室乗務員に用意したことも含まれます。
