Developing economies are facing the most disruption from COVID-19, and Bremmer warns these countries could become new hotbeds of global instability.

"I think in the United States, in Japan, in the wealthy economies, a lot of people are going to die. But I don't see major social instability coming out of those countries."

"But in many of the emerging markets, the developing world, yes. I mean, if you have inadequate healthcare systems, and you have economic recession or depression, people cannot get enough resources to take care of themselves and their families."
