Fake quantum supremacy in useless task

Home page
Quantum computer is useless

Quantum information supremacy is fake, useless.

Fake quantum supremacy just outputting random useless numbers with high error rates by only 12 ion qubits is useless.

(Fig.1)  Today's quantum computers are still Not computers nor able to conduct meaningful calculations.

The recent "quantum information supremacy" is fake, Not outperforming classical computers.

Research paper on fake quantum supremacy ↓

Just 12 ion qubits cannot show real useful quantum supremacy.

This research paper (9/10/2025) ↓

p.1-left-2nd-paragraph says "it has Not yet been demonstrated to skeptics’ satisfaction that quantum computational advantage can be achieved in reality"  ← still No real quantum advantage.

p.1-right-last~p.2-left says "any classical algorithm provably requires at least 62 bits of memory, and we solve this task using only 12 qubits on a trapped ion quantum computer."

"quantum information supremacy.... a quantum device solves a (useless) task using significantly fewer qubits than the number of bits required by any classical algorithm"  ← fake news

Just 12 qubits (= one qubit can take only 0 or 1 values ) cannot show real useful quantum computer's supremacy that will need millions of qubits ( this-4th-paragraph,  this-8th-last-paragraph ).

Fake quantum supremacy just output random useless numbers.

Just 12 ion qubits outputting random useless numbers with 60% error rate cannot prove quantum supremacy.

The same research paper's p.4-left-2nd-last~last-paragraphs say
"The experiment requires a source of true randomness to generate the inputs"  ← just outputting random useless numbers ( this-2nd-paragraph,  this-4th-paragraph~ ).

"Our experiment achieved a sample average XEB fidelity (= 1 - error rate ) of FXEB = 0.427"  ← So this research just output random useless numbers with about 57.3% error rate ( this-6~10th-paragraphs ).

No proof of quantum supremacy in just outputting random erroneous numbers.

Real quantum supremacy must output right (= error-corrected ) answers faster than classical computers, which is impossible.

So today's error-prone quantum computers are useless, showing No real supremacy, because they cannot give right answers nor correct their errors ( this-middle-will quantum computers arrive soon ?  this-3rd-last-paragraph ).

↑ This is why all they could do was just generate random useless numbers into which a lot of errors (of qubits ) were illegitimately hidden ( this-p.34-1st~2nd-paragraphs ).

To prove real quantum supremacy, quantum computers must give right (= error-corrected ) answers faster than classical computers, which real quantum supremacy with no errors is impossible forever.

No quantum error correction

This-3rd-last-paragraph (8/22/2025) says
"While it may demonstrate a computational advantage for a narrow task, it lacks crucial elements for fault-tolerant and useful quantum computation,... Here, fault tolerance refers to calculations where the quantum computer identifies and corrects its own errors, a long-sought ability that has Not yet been achieved in practical quantum computers"

No proof of 'powerful' parallel-universe computations

Today's (fake) quantum supremacy is based on illusory idea that n qubits can utilize 2n (unreal) quantum superposition or parallel- universe states to output random (useless) numbers that may be hard for a classical computer using only one single real universe to emulate ( this-5th-paragraph,  this-6~8th-paragraphs,  this-last-paragraph ).

↑ But today's quantum computers give only erroneous wrong answers which can Not prove the real quantum supremacy using (fantasy powerful) parallel-universe simultaneous calculations.
