はっきりって傑作です。２枚目のInternationalより遥かに好きです。メロディが聴き易いし屈折の仕方が自然（？）でダサくない。この作品を聴くと日本のムーンライダースを思い浮かべるのは私ばかりではあるまい。10ccの影響は大きいようだが、10ccほどの灰汁の強さは感じない。（詩は結構まとも？）
PhilCollinsやJohn.G.Perryなどプログレ界の有名ミュージシャンが参加しているのも興味深い。
日本版は初発売みたいで入手し易くなったので、多くの人が聴く機会が増えたろうから、是非買って聴いてほしい。７０年代のBritishPop'sを代表するバンドでありながら、パンクムーブメントや10ccの影に隠れて今ひとつ知名度は低いが、二枚目よりこちらの方がお勧めだ！！ |
