"Nocturne" for Cello and Piano made it's world premiere in the spring of 2016, performed by Shinsuke Kamikura (cello) and Kazuo Miyashita (piano) at the second "Our Hometown, Again" Fukko (Recovery/Light of Happiness) Concert held in Iwaki City, Fukushima. The performance made a great success touching the heart of the large audience.
The introduction part of this piece has a strong color of elegy filled with sorrow, and the tense middle part depicts fear of savage Tsunami coming to attack, then the final part is intended to provide strong encouragement and prayer to the affected.
As the composer, there is no greater pleasure than this piece to be performed by as many people as possible to deliver consolation and encouragement to the people suffering.

鶴原勇夫作曲、チェロとピアノのための「ノクターン〜浜通りへの夜想曲」
この曲は、２０１６年３月１３日に福島県 いわき市で開催された
第２回「ふるさと、再び」福光コンサートで演奏されるために、２０１５年１２月に 作曲しました。
「浜通り」は２０１１年３月に起きた福島第一原子力発電所の放射能漏れ事故の被害を、最も強く受けた 地域です。多くの人々が帰るべき故郷を失い避難生活を続けています。その人々を招いて開催される コンサートのために、苦しみの最中にある人への同苦と、慰めと、また励ましの気持ちを込めて作曲した 苦心の作です。 前半の多くの部分は悲しみに包まれた「エレジー（悲歌）」の色が濃いのですが、最後のエンディング 部分は、力強い励ましの音楽になるようにと、祈りを込めて作られています。
本作品は，上記コンサートに於いて、神倉唇侑氏のチェロ、宮下和夫氏のピアノによって初演されました。
この音楽が、苦しみを感じている人々に慰めと励まし を与えることに役立つことができたならば、作曲者にとって最高の喜びです。
