About Us

Studio Blank was established by Hiroaki Taki in 1995

Hiroaki Taki is a Japanese architect born in Tokyo on 24 January 1965. In 1967, he moved to Yokohama with his parents, and graduated from Yokohama National University of architecture in 1987.After working for Phase Associates from 1992 to 1995 and a variety of firms, in 1995 he founded his own studio in Tokyo. In 1990, he was awarded the SD Review.

He is also a mountain biker loving nature.
