Charles Grodin 扮するプロデューサーと Paul Simon がTVスペシャルショーを作っていくという筋のアメリカNBC-TVの番組。1, 2では、背が低くてマイクに届かなかったり、興味のなさそうな客が数人だけのコンサート会場、テレビ局の受付で「Paul Simon」と名乗ってもすぐにわかってもらえないこと、TVスペシャルのタイトルを考える場面など、コンプレックスや実体験をギャグにしていておもしろい（皮肉っぽい？）。ギターとハーモニカだけのアレンジの5は静かだがノリのいいもの。
