Title:Teaching Methods for enhancing the concepts of mathematics by studentユs activities.
(生徒の活動を通して数学の概念を高める指導法)
The purpose of this paper is to show students that the function graph is composed of point sets.
This study is about the teaching methods in a mathematics class where students form lines
or parabolas on a graph in a set of axes drawn in lime outdoors. At those times, students described
what to expect and what to think. The class ended, and then students described their impressions
of the activities.
The results show that more students realized that a graph is composed of point sets,
understood the meaning of a function, and drew the function graph with interest.
Students enjoyed the mathematics activities. The activities generated a powerful image,
which formed a sound basis for formal learning and a vivid illustration of the power of physical
involvement. The best feature is the dynamic imagery it creates for students.
This imagery proves to be invaluable later when developing abstract modes on the chalkboard.
The images are vividly recalled using phrases like メremember when we were outside ミ what would
the instructions be for y=2x+1, How would the person on +4 move? メ
y=-2x-5を描いています。 y=x2です。
最後に連立方程式の解(交点)をやりました。
