これもあまり知られていない曲かも知れませんが、アイルランド民謡風の名旋律に満ちた佳曲です。最初の淡々とした音楽が中間部ではオペラアリアのように盛り上がり、また最初のメロディに戻っていくところなどなかなか演奏効果が上がるからでしょうか。録音でもしばしば取り上げられるのを聴くことができます。これも1850年の作。
