Crownèd with flowers I saw fair Amaryllis With Thyrsis sit，hard by a fount of crystal， And with her hand，more white than snow or lilies， On sand she wrote，”My faith shall be immortal”: But suddenly a storm of wind and weather Blew all her faith and sand away together. |
花たちに讃えられ 私は美しいアマリリスを見た チルシスが座っているところ 水晶の泉は激しく湧き そして彼女の手は 雪やユリよりも白かった 砂の上に彼女は書いた「私の誠は永遠よ」と けれど突然 風と雨の嵐が 彼女の誠と砂とを一緒に吹き飛ばしてしまった |
