シェイクスピアの「ヴェニスの商人」より。コーツの音楽は「ディンドンベル」のフレーズがとてもやさしく響き、耳に残ります。あまりイギリスの作曲家に作曲されていない詞ですが、これはなかなか素晴らしい作品。もっとも戯曲の中では優美過ぎて使いにくいようにも思えます。
