I introduce you to "TypingWars", a game stack made by HyperCard.
You may think that HyperCard is rather primitive software to develop a memo pad, an address book or a simple picture show and so on.
Try this stack and have a new understanding of great ability of HyperCard !

TypingWars is a game stack for typing exercise.
I have developed it for my daughter and son. Later I found that even a grown-up person can enjoy playing the game.

A UFO attacks the earth with an alphabetic bomb. You must defeat the bomb by typing the same kind of alphabet before it lands. It is a quite old-fashioned scenario, isn't it ?
The game is over when the bomb reaches to the ground.

Enjoy playing the game, and you will be a master of typing.

The photo of the earth with which I decorates a cover of the stack is courtesy of NASA. I had used the photo for the cover in May, 1996. Later I was much surprised to find that the same photo has been used in the background picture of about menu for Mac OS 8 in 1997.
