Happy memories

	Fuh and I went on a four-day trip to Karuizawa and Shinsyu by car. We could see snowy mountains and the greenery in the month of May was indescribably beautiful.
	The lake seen from a car was calm. The soft green tree-tops were swaying in the wind.
	Early in the morning we took a walk around the lake called "Shirakabako" with Yottyan. Nobody was there. We felt as if we could go on walking without limit.
	In a dog run, with no lead we ran and ran as much as we liked. It was the happiest time.

		I hadn't seen a horse until I came to the pasture"Nagato". His soft-eyed look made my mind throb with the emotion of joy.
Boxer Rockykun		Of the dogs I've met during the trip, Rocky was the most impressive. He had a grim face, but I found him so friendly when I talked with him.

In a dream

In a dream, we took a trip to America. At first, in California we met Bender. He was good-looking, and looked so happy. But unexpectedly he began to tell us his sad history.

" I was abandoned in the desert and found by someone who brought me to Basset Rescue of Southern California. I was emaciated and had mange and couldn't even stand by myself. The pictures show you how I looked then.

Basset Rescue called a woman and her husband, and Fortune smiled on me. They drove an hour to pick me up and brought me to their own vet. It took me one year to recover from my health. I don't have a grudge against the person who abandoned me, since I was able to meet them. I'm so happy now. She says that I am so brave. I'll show you the picture that I 'm pretending to be a parrot, sitting on her shoulder. You know how comfortable her love and care make me"

Next, in Georgia we met three Pekes. As they looked sad, we asked them the reason. Munchie said, "Our brother, Rosco, died of an illness called immune hemolytic anemia recently. It was not a week before he died. He was all black and beautiful. We loved him a lot. We persuaded ourselves that time blunts the edge of sorrow. Sorry, we can't smile now" We found ourselves at a loss for words of consolation, but whe we saw the woman who had a loving heart ,sitting next to them, we were sure that they would be OK.

Cherry blossoms are super

	I went to see cherry blossoms with Fuh and Yottyan. There was something dashing about Harukun standing under the cherry trees.
	I found myself looking admiringly at him. Alas, he was short with me. Am I too young for him?
	Fuh, my big sister, seemed to fancy Ryoukun since she was just reaching the age of adolescence. She tried to talk to him time and again.
	At last she had her pictute taken with him.
