Taiyaki Song （原曲「およげ！たいやきくん」 高田ひろお 作詞 佐瀬寿一 作曲）
John Pearlsonの指導のもと、2016年度の第１回プロジェクトとして高校２年生が歌える訳詞の作成に挑戦。関わった生徒は中心メンバー13名など総勢50名程度。担当欄のJP
= John Pearlson、他は生徒名イニシャル。
訳詞に際して以下の点に注意させた。
１．音節数を合わせる
２．リズムの強弱を合わせる。（音楽的に強い音に第1強勢を合わせる）
３．脚韻をそろえる
４．日本語の言葉尻にとらわれず、独自の物語を創作する
この他に、言葉遊びの１つの手法として原詞と同じ音に聞こえる類音を使用する例（第４連の「おなか」→ Oh, not kind、「うみ」→ wooed me）を紹介したが、今回のプロジェクトではそれを真似る生徒は現れなかった。しかし、次回プロジェクトの「全力少年」では類音使用に挑戦する生徒も現れた。
第７連のthe shark Beckey はビートルズの曲で脚韻を踏むために固有名詞を登場させている例を紹介したので、それを生徒が応用したもの。
