Nov. 21st, 2009 NEW! Silver Medalist at
Skate Canada 2009
On Nov. 21st, 2009, Daisuke Takahashi won a Silver Medal(231.31) at the
"Skate Canada 2009" Nagano in Japan. This was his last chance
to entry for the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. After the competition,
Daisuke said,
"I've got little tired now, but I was more exhausted after the NHK
trophy. Some of my experience in the competitions made me read the game
gradually. I didn't have any pressure at all this time and I just focused
to improve my performance more than before." And he added, "At
morning exhibition practice, as I changed the quad jump's way a little
bit, it did work well. I think it's getting better for the quad."
He will return to Japan at next competition "Grand Prix Final" at Japan on Dec. 3rd - 6th, 2009.
Nov. 7th, 2009 NHK Trophy 2009
On Nov. 7th, 2009, Daisuke Takahashi placed 4th(214.29) at "NHK Trophy
2009" Nagano in Japan. This was his first competition of Grand Prix
of Figure Skating. Daisuke said after the competition. "I'm very frustrated
pretty much but I'd like to improve myself from this experience."
His next competition will be hold "Skate Canada" at Kichener,
ON, Canada on Nov. 19th - 22nd, 2009.
Oct. 10th, 2009
Finlandia Trophy 2009
On Oct. 10, 2009 in Finland, Daisuke Takahashi got the 2nd place(141.02) in free
program with some jump mistakes, however, he won the 1st place in Finlandia
Trophy 2009 overall. His total score is 224.25 points. Even though Takahashi has
lost last season from his injury, it's good first step to Winter Olympic Games
which he aims to get a gold.
Sept. 4th, 2009 Carnival on Ice 2009
On Oct. 3rd, 2009, Daisuke Takahashi is expected to be participate in
"Carnival on Ice 2009" in Japan. This is second time to perform
at skating show.

At Friends on Ice 2009 at Yokohama, Japan, Daisuke performed his new exhibition
program, which was "Luv Letter" by Japanese hip hop Aritist DJ OKAWARI. He jumped 3F and 3Lz completely.
