「鬼滅の刃」が能楽に
‘DEMON SLAYER’ TO BE ADAPTED INTO NOH PLAY

Record-setting Japanese anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba,” or “Demon Slayer,” is now being adapted as a traditional noh play.
- 記録的な日本のアニメ「鬼滅の刃」が現在、形を変えようとしています、伝統的な能楽の演目の1つに。
“Demon Slayer” is a manga series by Gotouge Koyoharu. The story is about a boy who battles demons in Japan about a century ago. Its film adaptation set a box-office record in Japan.
- 「鬼滅の刃」は吾峠呼世晴さんによる連載漫画です。この物語は鬼たちと戦う少年についてです、およそ100年前の日本において。その映画版は、日本での興行記録を打ち立てました。
Actors and producers involved with the planned performance announced some details on Tuesday.
- 計画中の公演に関わる能楽師や制作者が、いくつかの詳細を火曜日に発表しました。
Actor Ohtsuki Bunzo, who's a government-designated Person of Cultural Merit, will perform in the noh play, while Nomura Mansai will play the key demon and serve as stage director.(Nomura Mansai / Kyogen actor)
- 能楽師の大槻文藏さんは政府が指名した文化功労者で、その能楽の演目に出演します。一方で野村萬斎さんが主要な鬼を演じます、そして演出家としても務めます。
“The story is well-suited to noh as its theme is demons, which are often a key feature of noh plots.”

The noh performance will last just over two hours and depict part of the original story. It's scheduled to start late July in Tokyo, then go to Osaka in December.
