A team investigating the case of Anne Frank has identified a Jewish man as the leading suspect.

The Dutch teenager and her family were betrayed to the Nazis during World War II.

The Jewish family hid in the concealed annex of an Amsterdam warehouse for nearly two years before they were discovered in 1944.

Dutch police were unable to discover how Nazis found the hiding place. But a cold case team has helped unravel the mystery.

Their key evidence was an anonymous note sent to Anne's father. It names Arnold van den Bergh.

The team suspects the Jewish notary tipped off authorities to save his own family.
